We’ve just chosen our donor and are looking forward to the next stage in our journey using these frozen eggs!
I’m wondering on average how many transfers you all needed to get pregnant using donor eggs? X

Bumping, interested to know this also! Xx
I’ve had 3 failed ED transfers, but think I’ve been unlucky. I’m just prepping for my fourth, and praying this is my time🤞🏽🤞🏽. Sending you lots of luck for your transfers! 🍀 x
I know this is a bit like asking how long is a piece of string! 😆
We’ve all chosen DE because of different reasons for it not working with OE, but I’m still curious to know how many transfers it took for different people with different situations, just to get a general idea in my head. Thanks x
My clinic claimed I have about a 50% chance with DE or just under. We have three frozen embryos and I am hoping they could equal two children mainly because this is last chance saloon for us but I think I am being realistic that one BFP would be a good result x
Hi
First donor we used frozen eggs, got 2 blastocysts - single transfers both BFN.
Recommended to try with a fresh donor, got 9 eggs, 8 mature only 3 fertilised but got 3 blastocysts. Transferred 1 - BFN. Now prepping for my 4th transfer.
My clinic also claimed about 50% chance of success and that I’ve been unlucky x
Hi,
Exciting news on choosing your donor eggs!
We selected ours just before Christmas and did a fresh transfer recently which was a BFN but have 2 frozen embryos left and really do expect one of those to work.
I know of 2 other people who it worked first time and someone else took 2 embryos.
Good luck on the next steps and hope it only takes one 😊 xx
