DE cycle- how much info?

If you had a donor egg cycle how much info did your clinic give you when the donor was in stimulation?

Not much! It was literally on a need to know basis everything was so last minute xxx

That’s what I thought. I will call Probably just know what’s happening on the day of egg collection. Might ask them for an update after 5-6 days which is like half way.

I got told when my donor had started stims, then when egg collection would be then it was the dreaded 5 day up date of how many eggs were collected, how many fertilised and the grades of the embryos.xx

Ok so asking about number of follicles and potential eggs might be a step too far! I’ll have to just be patient. Thanks for getting back to me x

Ha ha ha its horrible waiting on news isnt it although to be fair the number of follicles doesnt really have too much bearing on the end result. I guess you could ask, whats the worst they can say....we dont tell you that!?! Good luck.xx

None at all. We didn't get a choice of donor either and only found out minimal information once we had our bfp. Even then that was only her age. X

I’m in Spain and that’s the same for us. Congrats on BFP x

My clinic was happy to let me know how many follicles my donor had. Even before we began they told me that she had a good AFC and that we could expect a lot of eggs.

But this was through a regular fertility clinic that does not provide egg donors, it was just an altruistic donor that came forward and we were paired with.
