I have just got home from my FET - it's my fourth, I had 3 failed last year. All went really well, the embryo was good quality, 100% thaw and completely expanded (I understand this is a good thing). I have had my McDonald's chips and now have my feet up!
The wait begins.... I am working the next few days so that will keep me busy, but I know I'll be tempted to test early. OTD is Saturday 5th, 11dpt.

Thanks Hun - but wishing I hadn't tested 😅😥 I tested this morning, 7dp, and it is negative. On a FRER. My husband keeps saying it's not official test day till Saturday... But I know in my heart. I'm just not sure how much more of this I can do. But my gut is saying we go straight into another round (we left it 4 months last time) and just crack on. Maybe transfer 2 next time. I'm getting worried though as only 3 left and what if I need to do another retrieval 😔 I know I should wait until Saturday to have all these thoughts but I'm pretty sure this is it for me. X
You’re not out yet!! It’s not official test date hubby is right!! Don’t lose hope! I know exactly how you feel though asking these questions already. It’s amazing that you’ve got 3 left should you need them! I only have one frostie left and that’s a day 6 er so I’m not holding out hope for that one. I’ve been thinking about whether I could put my self through another egg collection again too. I’m 40 this year and my AMH was low when I began this process so I don’t think I’d do so well next time and plus I’d be likely to have more abnormal eggs now. 😔 Gees it’s so hard isn’t it. I’m soooooo grateful I have my son and would love to give him a sibling. Big love to you and keep going xxx

I had a small bit of spotting in the 2nd week and I was convinced it was my period trying to break through the meds. However the test was positive! The line wasn’t as strong as when I was pregnant with my son though and I have had a chemical and a missed miscarriage before though. So I haven’t been able to get excited yet because I don’t believe it! Booked in for a viability scan end of this month. I don’t feel pregnant at all so gona be a long wait now until that scan. Just hoping for the best and knowing whatever happens from this point forward I’m so grateful for my son! Xx
Excellent news, congratulations on the transfer and sounds like a good embryo. I've got my transfer tomorrow but think my clinic have OTD on the 13th day so a little longer to find out.

Thank you for your replies ladies and for being due date buddies. Today feels like it's been the longest day ever! I've also been a bit low today. Someone else once suggested our bellies could turn a different colour when the embryo implants which would make the 2ww much easier 😂
Hello, I'm in early testing hell to be honest 😅😥 negative FRER at 7dp so not feeling very positive this morning. So will try not test for the next few days and then just do official test day on Saturday.That's great news on your frosties and your transfer going well! Really hope it's success for you ✨🙏🏻
Oh so sorry was a negative on 7dp 😔 Definitely could still be implanting and holding off to Saturday is a good plan. Going to Acupuncture today though and a swim this eve so hoping that'll nudge my mindset to be a bit more positive!
Sorry, it’s so disheartening - but it could definitely be too early! Even after implantation happens and takes a few days for hormone levels to be detectable as you know…. There’s a reason why test day is a bit later. I’m trying to hold off and not test early - very hard though 😔

Hello! Oh I'm sorry you feel anxious. But I'm the same too! Panicking when I feel something, panicking when I don't. This is hard. I think being distracted is a good thing - I was back at work too and it was mental, so it's kept my mind busy at least. How are you feeling now? When do you think you'll test? X

Glad you're feeling ok! I am ok too 🙂 But getting really impatient now. I think because I'm 5dp today, and I've had positives at 5dp on 2 other transfers.. so tomorrow is 6dp and I'm really tempted! But will be telling myself I'm not until official day on Saturday 🙏🏻✨ I also have been feeling lots of weird sensations today which has just got me ridiculously curious. It might be absolutely nothing... Or the progesterone... But it's driving me crazy and getting me hopeful. Have you had any symptoms?
I’ve had some weird aches and twinges that I haven’t had before but maybe I’m looking for signs lol. I would of tested today but hubby hid the tests as he could see I was twitchy !! I’m not sure I can hold out till Saturday but I’m really hoping this will be our first bfp

Hey 👋🏻 lovely, I have transfer tomorrow. This is my first FET. I have had two failed fresh cycles where there one only one embryo in each cycle to transfer. In this cycle, did a freeze all and have two embryos. Will be transferring one tomorrow. This time we haven’t told any friends or family to take the pressure off telling people. Hi it all went okay! I thought I wouldn’t be nervous 3rs time but was still very! Yes was thinking that it’s less people to tell if it doesn’t go to plan straight away. Yes same! 😂 I’m going to test on the official test day as that’s what I’ve always done but am a bit nervous because it’s the first time it’s a work day mon 7th and not sure what that will be like. Perhaps could test the Sunday before not sure! What about you?
Oh yeah that's a tough one! Maybe the Sunday is a good day to do it? You can either celebrate or have the space to feel shitty and not have to "show up" for anyone. I am absolutely not going to be able to last. I have got positives in the past at 5dp5dt... 😅 I might test tomorrow (6dp) or Tuesday (7dp)... But if it's negative I won't count myself out until official day next Saturday. I know that's mad testing early but I decided today, who am I kidding 😅

Hello ♥️ not good I'm afraid. Official test day was today.... Negative.. and my period came 😔 I knew it was over to be honest a few days ago. I just knew. I am feeling a bit numb and just can't believe it's failed again.... 4th failed transfer. I thought I did everything I could. But will just need to push on with the next one now. I'll have a follow up consultation soon hopefully and make a plan. Not sure if any other tests etc will be recommended or of we just keep going. How are you getting on?? 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 X

Oh really sorry to hear this 😔 So rubbish and know the next few days will just feel a bit crap. We go through so much for each round and crave the answers about why it hasn't worked but never get any. This is our embryo no.5 but 1st with a donor egg but OTD is Tuesday but not feeling hopeful. My OH is convinced it's worked which I think makes me worry more!

Impressed your review is so soon. Ours isn't until 8th April but I'm.okay with that as need a cycle of 2 before starting again anyway.

Oh love - sorry I missed your reply. I'm so, so sorry for your outcome 😔😥 it absolutely sucks. But sounds like a good plan that you're focussing on your next FET - will it be a double transfer? I really hope it's the one for you 🙏🏻✨ We had our consult today and think we will be testing our remaining 3 embryos. The consultant said he rarely sees so many failed transfers in someone age so he wants to explore things further and adjust our plan for next transfer. I feel good about it, so will see where it leads us.

Yeah, we umm-ed and aah-ed a lot about those tests and weren’t sure if to do them…. We did in the end, and did learn something - whether it made the difference I have no idea! I think it was more about feeling like we were doing everything - but that’s how the clinics get all our money 😝

Bad news for us - our BFP ended in a chemical….. 😥 so we’re going for another fresh round, just waiting for my period now as need to wait till next cycle. Heart broke, but trying to keep optimistic that there’s still a chance for a better outcome next time 🤞🍀 xx
Oh I'm so, so sorry to read this 😥 I'm devastated for you. I hope you're doing as ok as you can, in this situation. It's so unfair isn't it. It's good though that you can now focus your energies on your fresh cycle 🙏🏻✨ this is a crazy rollercoaster we're on. We had our follow up consult this afternoon and the consultant said they rarely see so many failed transfers (4) in someone my age (34) so he thinks we need to rethink approach. He also strongly advised testing our remaining 3 embryos so we think that's what we'll do, then make a new transfer plan. If none of them are any good then we'll go another fresh round. I feel weirdly ok about all that... I think just having a plan helps. He didn't think any of the EMMA, Alice, ERA tests are valid at this point as I've had implantation before which suggests lining is ok. So we'll see how the PGA testing goes I guess 🙏🏻 on the downside this will delay our next transfer but I guess it's all for the best in the end.

Thanks so much. It really is devastating, but I’m better now than I was a couple of days ago…. I was so hopeful this was it, but I also know how common chemicals are. I cling to the fact that implantation at least is a step further than we got the last three times! Speaking to our consultant she said what I expected, that it’s all about embryo genetics, it’s a question of luck and numbers and we just need to go again…. 🤞 at my age (39) up to 75% of embryos could be abnormal apparently, so we just need to cross our fingers we have more luck. Glad to know you’ve got a plan, and it does sound like a sensible one. As you say, knowing what your next steps are is a big help. Sending love back 💜🍀
I’m so sorry to hear that my lovely 😞. It’s so tough to keep on going sometimes isn’t it. There are so many stories of resilient ladies and couple on here where they keep going and it works out.
