Hello, I’m currently in my second transfer after 11 ivf cycles. I had two chemicals before we turned to ivf, and the first transfer ended in a chemical. This time round (2nd transfer) we transferred a 5 blastocyst deemed normal in after pgd testing (transfer date was on Valentine’s Day, which I thought was quite cute). I’m on progesterone pessaries this time, as opposed to the oral progesterone I took the previous three times. My familiar sore boobs, sleepiness, slight twinges are all missing this time round. I mean, other than a slight twinge on the night of transfer, NOTHiNG. I’m feeling pretty low as I had a trigger shot on the day of transfer, a second ovidrelle shot yesterday, and one more to go on Monday, so testing is out of the question until the actual beta day on 28th Feb. - still a long way to go. I know that it’s probably early, but I don’t even have any progesterone side effects, which were slightly reassuring the previous times. Everyone seems to be testing after day 4, so I feel pretty alone in the symptoms-to-expect department. Anyone in a similar situation? Do those with a bfp on days 4, 5, 6 etc still have no symptoms? 🌈❤️💕

4dp5dt no symptoms - cannot test for another 10 days
Hello,I just wanted to say that my son is from the transfer on Valentine's Day and this date will be always special to me. I hope this will be a [special date for you too
Unfortunately, can't comment on your question as I never tested as early.
Good luck!
You had 11 IVF cycles? You mean full cycles with 11 times egg retrieval procedures? If you buy an early detection test you can test on Monday, as it is 1 week then. I used early detection test 6 days after the transfer
That’s correct, Aliice123. 11 full cycles/retrievals minus the transfers, as we froze all blastocysts for pgd testing. It takes about 7-10 days for ovidrelle to leave the system so, given that I had a shot yesterday and will have another on Monday, I’ll end up with a false positive if I test before beta day. I’m curious to find out whether people who have tested positive early on continue to not have symptoms for a while or not, as all conversation on symptoms seems to diminish after testing is done. I appreciate your response. Wishing you the best!
Hi! Last Fet I tested on 6dpt and got a faint positive but I had many symptoms. Sadly it ended in a chemical. This time around I'm 8dpt didn't had any symptoms until yesterday evening. Maybe this means to have a healthy pregnancy, not having so many symptoms. I'm going to tell you on Sunday if the lack of symptoms can be a good thing or a bad thing. AF should come until OTD. But I've read that many women got BFP without any symptoms. Fingers crossed you get your BFP!😁
Hidden please do! It’s nice to know that our experiences have been similar so far. I’ll keep you in my thoughts, wishing all goes well! ✨💗
Hi, I’m in the 2ww for my second transfer too! My transfer was the day after yours but my OTD is also Feb 28th.Similar here, but last time I felt loads of symptoms and had a BFN even with my pgs embryo. This time I’m not feeling much except a bit tired, but I think that’s normal!
So many women get a BFP after no symptoms and so many (like me last time) get tons of symptoms but get a BFN on test day.
I’m trying to just stay distracted and not look for anything specific because I know I drove myself mad last time. It’s not easy, but I’ve lined up some tv shows and have a puppy to train as well. Both good for taking my mind off of the wait. Last time I tested early and then spent the last 4 days before my OTD in agony. I had strong symptoms the whole time, but it was just the hormones.
Wishing you all the best and hope you get a BFP on the 28th!!
I’m so looking forward to us sharing positive outcomes on the 28th, exhaustedbythesea. I know it’s pointless to symptom spot, and you are so right about keeping one’s mind off things. Your words are really comforting and I thank you so so much for sharing your experience. Keeping my fingers crossed for both of us! 💕🤞🏼
I had a medicated FET first time that failed and yet I had sore breasts and wasn’t certain I was pregnant. So what a blow and down to the drugs. The second time I had a naturally modified so only progesterone but being wary it can cause symptoms I didn’t really listen to my body. Many will tell you they had zero symptoms and then got a BFP. I will say that towards my test date id had a few very mild cramps and frequency for the loo (I think my breasts may have been slightly sore but nothing compared to the first time). But at day four I think I was in a similar position searching for symptoms that didn’t exist. Thinking that at day four the embryo might not have even implanted yet. So hold fast 🤞🤞🤞
In both my 2 ivf pregnancies I had zero symptoms so hang in there!!!!Crossing my fingers for you!
