I'm not an expert but I think that's so early that you could have been picking up the trigger shot which I think gives you a bfp on the test

I tested the day after transfer and the test was negative but maybe x

If you are 19dp5dt and pregnant, do you need to worry about the 4 day test or are you just curious? xx

Basically I'm a bit worried the hormone was stronger so maybe twins?

Ah I see. I was confused. Did you have 2 transferred? If not I think the chances of twins isn't very high Xx

No just 1 lol this is what I mean, I had 1 top blasts transferred I tested the day after transfer to make sure trigger was gone, it was but the test was a cheap one so may not of shown up if trigger was still there! So I tested 4 days after and the test was faint but there! I started getting twinges and things straight away I'm just getting a strange feeling lol it's split xx

I didn't test 4 days after as I waited till my otd but I also had twinges and crampy pains from day after transfer for a good few days, only 1 blastocyst transferred and currently pregnant 13 and half weeks with just the one baby xx

I had twinges from day 1 through to day 5/6 and got a bfn so I don't think you can really rely on them. The progesterone causes all sorts. That said I've a feeling our implanted and then came away. I had a really faint line on the day before OTD but the next day I had nothing. It's not unusual I understand for Superdrug early response tests to show a faint line. The blood test showed nothing so the clinic didn't think I'd had a chemical. Who knows. In a way I'm glad I didn't test earlier and get a stronger positive only to lose it later. Try not to worry. It's probably just because you implanted soon after transfer. Xxx

Don't be silly - I'm just saying try not to read too much into things or to worry. We've been lucky that we have 9 Frosties so will be able to try again soon. All the bfps give me hope! Xx

Hi I tested at 5 days after having a 5 day top blast had a faint positive and I had identical twins girls that are now 2 years so the egg spilt it can happen the thing I didn't even now that could happen so it was a shock but the best shock in the world xxx

This is exactly what I'm saying Hun it does happen and I know it's low chance but it's def higher with ivf! The only thing I'm going by is the early test and I felt different straight away! Maybe I'm reading into things but I just wanted to see if anyone had experienced this xx

Yes I understand when I think back and google the first few weeks after I found out I was pregnant I would get out of breath walking up to work never thought anything of it but after I found out I googled at its a sign your having more than one . But it can happen chick your right it's more common than you think really my friend had 2 blasts put back in and had triplets because of the egg spilt but either way I wish you a healthily pregnancy and keep me updated xxx

Aw thanks hun either way I feel blessed 1 is very lucky considering it's taken us 4 years and lots of stress and heartache so as long as all goes ok that's all that matters xx

I didn't know it was that common. Wow. You learn something new every day. I hope it's the result you want when you have your scan. Xx

I thought the higher risk of twins was due to them putting two embryos back and you get the higher risk that way rather than with identical twins.

But who knows, I'm learning too!

I had a positive pregnancy tests from 5dp5dt with both rounds of ivf. Both turned into chemical though, although I don't think it's likely that for me both sets were twins (both single transfer) so I'd say you can get an early positive and it doesn't mean twins xxx
