Possible Trigger - Scan Nightmare

Hi all,

So had a surprise pregnancy after Xmas... currently meant to be 8 weeks.

All started off great HCG on last check was over 66K.

First scan at 5 weeks 6 days showed CRL, sac and flickering heartbeat.

Then at 7 weeks had to get 2 opinions on scans. First clinic advised I was measuring behind and slow heartbeat and to prepare for MC or possible DnC.

Went to second clinic where I did all my previous IVF with a view of getting IVIG if I needed it . When she did the scan she said I was measuring measuring close to bang on at 6 weeks 5 days and a HB of 108. She said everything looked great and looked healthy and was wondering what the other clinic was actually looking at the day previous.

Yday I decided just to get a re-assurance scan or so I thought.. the lady here again was struggling to find it and measure it and again stated I was measuring behind and a very faint HB.

At this point I am soo confused .. could it possibly be inexperienced sonographers and crappy machines?

My scan at 6 weeks 5 was great quality saw everything on screen and saw and heard the HB for myself ..

What are ppls thoughts?? Is there hope for this pregnancy? I am due to get a scan this week again in the same place I had the 6 weeks 5 scan so at least it will a like for like scan. Equally too the scanner here is a proper doctor and not just a sonographer

Praying this is it for us .. can't cope with much more disappointment 😪
