*Sensitive* Early miscarriage? Or still hope?

As mentioned in a previous post I started spotting/bleeding Sunday after getting a BFP on Tuesday (8th). This had continued all this week, it’s definitely been heavier at times but not full on flow and has ranged from brown to red to pink. I would say there has been some clotting but there is a a lot of wax up there so it’s hard to tell! I’ve had cramping throughout this FET so that’s not new but it has continued.

When my first cycle failed, I started spotting on the Weds and then by Thursday night it was full on bright red flow falling out of me. This was during the 2WW wait and it failed 3 days before I was due to test.

I am trying to stay hopeful as I have not had a full flow but can an early miscarriage be this constant spotting, is it always a full flow? My viability scan is Weds 2nd and they won’t scan me earlier as there is no point. They have just told me to carry on with meds as normal.

I’m also so tired and can’t work out if that’s work (I’m a teacher) or pregnancy symptom. Basically I’m driving myself mad trying to guess. I was unsure whether to do a test as I didn’t know if that would give a true result with me still being on estrogen and pessaries?

Sorry for the ramble. I’m starting to feel hopeful as in my head a miscarriage is full flow and I don’t want to get my hopes up if I’m wrong about that.

X

I'm so sorry you're going through this, it's so hard not knowing. Honestly it could be both fine or not fine, and that's why it's so hard and worrying.

As you've said you want to know, I did have an early miscarriage with only a slight continuous flow and that gave me some hope also, but I think the meds stopped me from having a heavy bleed.

Have you considered doing another pregnancy test to see of you're still getting a strong positive? My test results were getting much lighter after a week of bleeding so this may help you understand. I ended up not needing the viability scan as I received a negative test before that point.

But I hope this is not what's in your future and you've just got some bleeding, which plenty of people do!

It's really difficult to know what may be going on. As the other poster said it could be both. It sounds like your clinic dont do bloods either....which most dont. The fact that you are on pessaries and estrogen doesnt affect a pregnancy test to see if it's as dark or darker as your previous one. All the best, really hope all is ok, hugs.xx

Everything was ok, I was really shocked and burst into tears. No idea why I was bleeding. Still struggling with really bad cramps. Going to do the NIPT blood tests and hope they come back ok and then I can breath! How are you doing? Was everything ok? X
