We are finally going for our ET. With the new ERA protocol (extra 24 hours of progesterone). Plus added clexane. No other changes though (no steroids allowed despite considering them). After numerous investigations and delays we are here. Unfortunately we've had a hard time with the clinic (complaints going unanswered, nurses with the wrong info, appearing incompetent and scheduling issues). But today is the day to put all of that behind us!
It's hard to be positive though, and as much as I think I should have a positive attitude, I almost don't want to get our hopes up either. For we've made plans for each of the other 5 embryos. Maybe the 6th one is the lucky one, maybe it will stick!!
I'm not sure the point of this post really, but I know a few people wanted to know how it does with the new ERA protocol... So fingers crossed and watch this space!

I totally understand how you feel. We’re switching clinics for round number 4 and going through all the preliminary checks in the next few weeks. It’s just such an exhausting process I think it’s perfectly natural to be a little pessimistic when all the bumps in the road are so fresh in your mind. But I take heart from all the positive stories on here. I am wishing you all the luck in the world, please keep us updated xxx
I’m so sorry to hear this. We have had a few pga tested good quality embryos that lead to bfn or chemical to. It’s so heart breaking. My clinic have upped my progesterone and steroids in the hope it works this time. I hope your ok xxx
Thanks. Mine didn't allow me to use steroids, although I did try to push for it!! (if you don't mind me asking, do you have a clinical need for it?)We are obviously v disappointed. It's been almost 2 years since we started ivf (over 2 years of we include pre-stuff), and we are likely looking at a new egg collection now, with 2 year older eggs! But are nowhere further forward!!!
Hi, I’ve not been diagnosed with anything. I’m unexplained. The doctor suggested that we include it last time. We then upped it for this time. She’s decided to include it just incase that’s a factor. My transfer should hopefully be on Friday. No idea if the extra progesterone and steroids will help but it’s certainly worth a bash. Hope your ok xxx
