Morning Everyone. We have done everything we can to deter pregnancy posts from this Forum. Anyone can join the “Infertility Network UK – Pregnancy Support” too if they wish, once they have past their first milestone of 6 weeks into their pregnancy. Unfortunately, some people are still ignorant to this fact, and continue to upset those of us who are still struggling with their fertility issues. Just be aware that some will continue to slip through, and usually the heading gives away the content of the post. I am going to discuss with my colleagues about deleting any post about any pregnancy over 6 weeks. Sadly, there will be a few whose pregnancy does not continue to full term – we will still be here. You can of course switch back again if you continue to have problems following a loss, or difficulties in trying to conceive again. We will still look forward to a one-off picture of your new-born(s)! Please just BE AWARE! Love and fond wishes to you all. Diane

Hi Diane. One question I have is about viability scan updates, which most women have at 7 or 8 weeks of pregnancy. I found it incredibly helpful when I had just gotten my BFP to be able to find positive viability scan updates to keep the hope alive, as there are sadly of course a lot of negative ones. Are viabilty scan updates (positive and negative) no longer allowed on this forum specifically? Thank you as always for trying to make this forum the best it can be - I don't know where I would have been without it xx

Hi Purpledoggy. That can be handled on the Pregnancy Support Forum. You can compare scans there if you wish to. I suppose a 7 week scan hidden under the "show image" button would be allowed, Diane

I'm bumping this post as I've seen 3 posts in the last two days which are inappropriately posted on this forum. Please think about how you once felt x

Thank you Diane - I know I found these posts particularly upsetting and I still double-take at times when I see them, as I know others will be hurting. Are we able to tag this post as a reminder so it always sits at the top of the feed (if possible)?

I did think we were still allowed the one-off viability scan update (i.e. yes, everything is fine) so I am incredibly sorry if I caused offence to anyone with mine. It was more my intention to offer hope or help if anyone was looking for similar situations later.

Can I please also check if we should or shouldn't mention when we reply to a post if we are currently pregnant? i.e. the ones about embryo grading. Again, I just don't want to upset anyone. At all. But it makes sense to reply positively in certain circumstances.

Hi lovelies. Just dropping a note on this so it floats to the top of the feed again! Anyone who has a pregnancy post or question should please move over to Fertility UK - Pregnancy Support after their viability scan at 6 weeks. 💕
