Chemical pregnancy

Hi everyone,

We got told today we had a chemical pregnancy but the hcg levels the other day from the blood test was 21 and today’s blood test was 29. So it’s jumped up slightly. We are so confused 😐 we need to go back on Wednesday for another blood test to check levels again.

I don’t really know what to think? Can you still be pregnant after a chemical pregnancy??

A chemical pregnancy is still a pregnancy of sorts as you have hcg in your system. The other option could be an ectopic pregnancy?

Why has the hcg level went up slightly? It’s meant to go down? We will find out on Wednesday after the next blood test

Im so sorry lovely. This is so heartbroking. I remember my confusion as it was my ever bfp. When we went through it i was told that there has to be a doubling of the hcg levels. In pregnancy tests you expect a darker line every 48 hours and in bloods a doubling of the number. I pray you still get an increase in your numbers 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Aw lovely. Just take it per day and miracles do happen so 🤞 fingers crossed. It might not look like it but it is a win it means you came a step further. We will get there in the end xxx😘😘
