No surge in natural FET?!

Hi all, we’re about to go for our third FET on a natural cycle but I’m having no surge. They’re measuring my lining and it was 6.5mm on Friday. Having another scan today. The clinic seem fine about going ahead this week but I’m nervous not to ‘waste’ an egg. We’ve gone back to back with a failed FET/BFN in October. My period was late but the minute I got my BFN I stopped progesterone and it came that night. Im not sure if the hormones mess with stuff.

So basically has anyone transferred with no surge and had a BFP please?

Thanks ladies x

Hi Capps. There is often no difference in implantion rate, surge or no surge. 6.5mm is a little low but I have known it to work. Maybe the linig might catch up a bit later this week. Trust your clinic who after all, want you to get pregnant too! Good luck! Diane

Thank you. I think I worried as I’ve never had this. They’ve said still wait for this surge but i am about a week late. They are looking to implant next week so i guess I have time to get thicker lining. I was told 7mm was good enough.

Hi. Yes 7 you can do, but you might even get to a magic 8 mm. Keeping fingers crossed. Diane xx

Hello hun, I have natural modified FETs now, where they scan to look for a lead follicle of the right size, check my lining, and when they're happy I do an ovitrelle trigger shot, and the transfer timing is based on when I did the trigger (7 days later). I did a mock ERA cycle this way and the ERA confirmed I was receptive at transfer. I started doing it this way instead of fully natural because I worried I was finding hard to be exact when my LH surge was. Good luck hun.
