Progynova split dose or single

Hi everyone,

I`ve been prescribed progynova 10mg daily to take with progesterone on a fresh ivf cycle as my lining was on the thin side. I`ve been told to take 8mg orally and 2mg vaginal. Doctor wasn`t bothered how i took the progynova. So i take 8mg all at once and place the 2mg vaginal just before the cyclogest.

Has anyone been told to split the dose of progynova? Or any different advice?

Hi Nadia,

I am on 8mg Progynova daily and have been advised to take two pills in the morning and two pills in the evening.

Hi lovely, I was on 8mg progynova my both times,First time I spilt into 4 time a day that time nurse didn't tell me I can have two pills in morning and two in evening,Next round I had two pills in morning and two in evening .

So there is no rule to take medicines but having all four as same time not good idea(this is my opinion there is no medical research having or not having all the same time) .

Hi Nadia, I was on 12mg Progynova and did 2 in the morning, 2 at lunch (vaginally) and 2 in the evening. Best of luck! xx
