Morning ladies, I hope you are all well?

I had my FET yesterday, and I’ve gone completely paranoid since. Walking like a snail, baggy jogging bottoms and daren’t eat my breakfast until I have fully read the dos and don’ts. So I’m in my 2 week wait now, does anyone have any advice on what we can and can’t eat or drink or even do for that matter? I love an egg but I get them from my milkman and someone said they have to be specifically approved? Help please before I starve ha xxx

Good morning.. congrats on your FET💝 exciting times! I am normally told that after the first day of taking it easy it is pretty much almost life as usual. Avoid caffeine and alcohol and anything but light exercise. No jumping and jogging and such. Eat healthy but don’t stress too much.

Good luck!

Hey congrats on your fet transfer and 2ww! Last cycle I did everything I could with exercise and eating healthy (ended in chemical). This time I promised myself not to go too far as last time I just stressed my body out. I had transfer on Thursday I’ve lay about watching Netflix and just pottered around the house. I’ve eaten McDonald’s,chocolate, doughnuts alongside the healthier stuff. Basically I eaten what I’ve wanted. Just stay away from the foods that are known to cause issues in pregnancy like your soft cheese/pate and such. Eat your food lovely! It has to be lion stamped egg and preferably hard cooked from what I’ve read. Your body needs fuel to work. I’ve made myself eat earlier in the day because I am not normally an early eater. Loads of luck 🤞🏼💕xx

Ps I’ve just had a chicken, spinach dhal chickpea salad and you better believe I will probably have something naughty later! It releases happy hormones can only be a good thing right 😉It will either be a lovely healthy embryo that decides to stick or for some reason it won’t be a healthy embryo and you have given it your best shot 💕 don’t stress your body out causes more harm than good.

Ps it can’t “fall” out just don’t go running around or entering the strongest women contest 😯lol xx

I had two fresh transfers that ended around 6 weeks and for one I took the 2ww off and did very little and tried to be extra careful, the other I carried on as normal. They both were successful in a way as they implanted but also both ended so what I did or didn't made no difference for me. For my first FET I didn't really change anything - I was on work emails as I went into the transfer and immediately after - probably quite stressed - and carried on busy like that. Also exercising as normal. I was told apart from not lifting weights, or straining your abdomen (which can be linked to ectopics), probably hold off kickboxing and don't drink masses of vodka(!) just keep doing what you do normally and don't choose now to take up anything new. What made the difference for me I think was either the FET protocol vs fresh, and changing progesterone, so not anything I had control over really. I think the other stuff is to help you feel like you have some control but if it makes you feel more relaxed to be doing or not doing something, then it's probably good. I eat a lot of eggs and get them from a local farm - since BFP I've probably made sure to cook them a bit longer so they're not runny is all x

Hello there, the only advice my clinic gave me during my 2WW was to follow the advice on the NHS website on the foods pregnant women should avoid,

During my last 2WW I pretty much had a balanced diet but still treated myself to our usual Friday night takeaway. I was also forced to eat some fast food as my husband and I had to go on a trip from London to Liverpool to progress our move.

This did not affect my chances so I have since have learned that the most overriding factor that will make an egg implant is the chromosomes of the egg and the uterine environment.

Nevertheless, I can still understand the need we have to give ourselves the best possible chance.

All the best with the next 2 weeks. 🙏🏾

Hello, best of luck 🤞🏼

So on my 2 week wait, I avoid coffee and drank decaf tea and ate pomegranate and pineapple. I bought caffeine free coke for a treat and I did still ate chocolate. I rested when I could (watching a Netflix series) but still went walks. I also still ate eggs. Xx

Hi, I'm in the 2 week wait now. It was day 11 on Sunday and I've had a BFP!!! We had tried in June but were unsuccessful. This time I took it easy, rested and went for short light walks. Followed the old wired take of eating pineapple!!! And avoiding red meat. I know in my head they make no difference but in this crazy world you do anything.

My advice is to eat as healthy as possible, balanced and avoid stress and worry. Plenty of funny TV shows and lie ins :)

If it was natural we wouldn't even know at this stage amd carry on as normal. Do what feels right and just avoid the usual soft cheese and shark!!!

You've got this!!!!! Everything crossed for you xxxx
