So I’m currently CD21 and DPO and IUI 9. My cycles are normally average 25/26.
My OH has been in hospital for 2.5 long weeks whilst we go through our first cycle. He is awaiting an MRI tomorrow and then is having surgery for infection on Sunday or Monday. I want to do a Home pregnancy test tomorrow in hope that he has something positive to hang onto and look forward to as the next few days and weeks are going to be difficult, just like the last few have.
Is it too early or should I try my luck?

I’m really sorry to hear how unwell your OH has been & hope he gets better soon. It can’t have been easy for you going through treatment either.
I was 14 days post ovulation when I got a positive test- I wanted to wait to be sure my period wouldn’t show up.
Most doctors will advise to test the day after the missed period & by then most pregnancies will show up.
It is really up to you- but ask yourself how you would feel if it was negative ( not saying it will be) & you’re there alone to deal with that result which might be a false negative as it could be too soon. If you can handle whatever outcome then go for it & I completely understand your motives for wanting to test. I couldn’t have tested on my own personally but everyone is different.
You must do what you feel is right & only you know.
I do wish you well & really hope you get a positive test xoxo 😘
I got my first very faint positive 9dpo and I suspected I would as I had brown implantation bleeding but 9dpo is early and can show a negative when it's actually a positive that's just not producing quite enough hormone at 9dpo. I got my positive on a first response. Good luck Hun xx
By all means you can try but don’t be too disheartened if it’s a negative. If you are pregnant the hcg probably won’t be strong enough to detect in your urine yet.
My natural positives didn’t show up until 12dpo and 14dpo - and that was with me testing on the days before it. So you would risk a false negative, so it depends how you would feel! For me early testing even when I’m trying naturally helps me let myself down gently when it hasn’t worked. X
