Unfortunately my understanding is that if your visa says no access to public funds (which a tier 2 visa does) then you’re not eligible for free fertility treatment. You’re eligible for family planning but infertility treatments including IUI and IVF are excluded.
I’m British but my husband is American so I looked into it when we started our journey. We paid privately for our treatment x
Agree with previous comment - your visa is only 5 years isn’t on Tier 2 (even though you can extend) so doesn’t include family planning services like fertility treatment
Hi Sunya, was in the same boat a few months ago. I’m on a tier 2 visa and was told I wasn’t eligible for funding. Had to go private. It sucks. I wish they’ll review the policy x
Hi Sunya, can i ask how soon did imperial get back to you? Ive gone past my 12month deadline for ET and sent them an email last friday but still have not had a response.
