Feeling very nervous about trying again

Hi everyone,

I’m going for a baseline scan next week with the hope of doing having an FET in December. I’m feeling so so nervous following the last attempt ending in an ectopic. I know I’ll be gutted if it’s a BFN, but if it’s positive I will just be waiting for something to go wrong. Also worrying about my repeatedly rubbish lining and hoping things are better on that front.

Reading some of your stories of success after ectopics has definitely given me some hope though.

Hi lovely, I think this is one of the hardest things to manage in IVF - that balance between hope and despair. You want to try again because you have hope, but you're afraid to in case it doesn't work.... so hard to manage.But you have to try if you want the chance - as you know - so I'm sending you lots of strength and positivity because you've got this - whatever happens xx

Hi Claire, I can definitely relate! I've recently had a FET cancelled because of my lining so we're going again with a new protocol but ahhh 🤕. It's so so hard sometimes... But you can do this 💪❤️ Sending lots of positivity and good wishes. Best of luck for your baseline scan and hope we both get to our FETs in December! xx

It’s so frustrating! And feels largely out of your hands. I followed all the advice about walking, vitamin e, hot water bottles, but still only got to 6.8 for the last transfer. My consultant was really reassuring and said lots of people still get pregnant with a think lining so I’m trying not to stress about it. I really hope you get to go ahead with your FET soon! The no mans land is the worst. Keep us updated!xx
