Hi everyone,

I have been prescribed prednisolone this FET cycle to start on the day that progesterone starts. What dosage is normal and how often?

Hi Bozo 🥰I was on 20mg prednisolone a day from 6 days before transfer (same as progesterone). I’ve heard others be on 5, 10 and 15 mg so I think it depends on why you are on them x

They will have prescribed it based on your test results, so it should be the right dose for you 👍🏼🥰

Hi there, I started Prednisolone on day 6 of the cycle 10 mg (2x5mg pills) in the morning with food. Then increased it to 4 pills from day of transfer. To be continued for 9 weeks after positive pregnancy test and it is a must to come off it gradually. Good luck xx

Thanks Jols… so you know why the dosage was increased?.. did you have a blood test of some sort or was it pre-planned?

Hi, yes I got tested for NK cells and they were high. So I also took Aspirin up to the day before the transfer which then was changed for Clexane 40mg from the embryo transfer. I also had intralipid infusions.

Ah ok.. I haven’t been tested for NK cells.. well I had a biopsy but not sure that was what they tested..? RE said they were testing for infection. I am also on Clexane… fun! For thrombophilia , but aspirin only after a positive test

Hi, NK cells diagnosis is from a blood test, biopsy is ERA and/or Emma, Alice to find out respectively Endometrial Receptivity window and infections in the uterus.

I took 10mg per day starting on cycle day 3 (same day I started estrogen pills) and continued until 11 weeks pregnant. I then weened off all meds slowly over the next 10 days or so.

It can reduce inflammation and help with implantation.

Standard practice is to get your NK cells tested first before subscribing x
