I am 7weeks pregnant and started using Prednisolone5mg from my stims day, then after my ET I doubled the dosage up to 10mg per day! I am prescribed it by a clinic in Denmark(coz I have slightly rised NK cells) but in my country my dr said he has no idea about it and I can use it by my own! I am prescribed to use it until 12week but a little bit worried about it!
If anybody has any experience of that plz tell me how long did u use it in your pregnancies?!
Thank u so much for your helps!xxxx

Thank u for your reply! So u have the same description as well! My transfer was on 9th of May and it was a 2 day embryo! I am 5weeks 2day from the transfer but as dr calculates, Im 7weeks2day(the count 2weeks before) so I thought I count it as my dr says with7week and continue that till5weeks more! Then he said I should use5mg for 2days to wean it off and then stop it!
U will get your BFP honey! I have everything crossed for u! We’ll pregnanct together again and hopefully this time will be our lucky time! Xxxxx
I used it from a positive test till I was 12 weeks pregnant. I truly believe it helped keep my baby safe I had chemical pregnancy prior to that pregnancy ( my baby is now 8 days old) I had no ill side effects. I took 5mg x2 in the morning after breakfast ( it can cause insomnia) I also had slightly raised nk cells too. All the best with your pregnancy xoxo
Thank u so much for reply! Glad to hear about your little angel! I do the same actually! 2x5mg in the morning and alittle bit insomnia! Im gaining weight as well! As Im most of the times hungry! But these side effect r not important to me! I was just worried for the fetus and it is really a relief, reading your message!
I took 10mg and started coming off them at 8 weeks. My clinic recommended to stay on it until 10 weeks but my consultant was happy for me to come off earlier. I don’t have any autoimmune issues though and I will never know if this was something which made a difference for me but definitely worth a try. Best of luck x
I've been on 20mg due to thyroid antibodies. I'm 12 weeks and weaning off, started reducing dose just after 11 weeks. Reduced by 5mg to 15mg for 3 days, then down to 10mg for 3 days, then 5mg for 3 days then nothing.
Thank u for your reply! Im going to wean off by reducing it to5mg for 2days and then stop it! Can I ask u how u calculate your pregnancy week for Prednisolone?! I am almost5weeks after my transfer but medically my dr count it7 weeks after my last period! Shall I stop it in5weeks from now?!

Nk cells are the Natural Killer Cells that exist on our immune system. The amount of them must be in the normal range otherwise they can produce antibodies when we get pregnant and they can attack the embryo as an external subject on the mother’s budy!
As far as I know, there are two ways for finding out if we have it or not! One is blood test that I done and the other one is getting sample from the uterus!
