How soon do you start having pregnancy symptoms? Is it the progesterone? I’m a nervous wreck

Hi lovely. You’re unlikely to get pregnancy symptoms this early on. Any cramps, sore breasts, aches, tiredness would most likely be caused by any medication you’re taking.I didn’t get any proper symptoms until about 10 weeks.

Good luck xx

Wow you were lucky! I’ve had morning sickness since 5.5 weeks! With sore breasts since before my BFP!

Oh wow! I would have given anything to feel symptoms! Every day I worried that something had gone wrong… I would have loved a bit of sickness 😂But I’m paying for it now with ligament pain and a haematoma xx

Ahh everyone is different. I know what you mean. I had zero sickness with my first pregnancy and sadly mc’d at 12 weeks - so it’s very welcome this time. But seems you are one of those blessed 😇 😅

Ahh thanks. It was a difficult time but all focussed now on my current rainbow pregnancy. This is through ivf (the other was natural) so hoping this is a strong little cookie. 3 weeks to go until my 12 week scan and I’ll rest much easier after that.

🥰🥰 you’re pregnant?

Ahh yes! 🥰 don’t lose heart! I had an MC a year ago and then a failed FET this year and finally following that (only 3 weeks earlier than last years conception) I had a naturally modified FET that finally resulted in a BFP! ☺️ So the minor cramps I felt were the embryo bedding in but I didn’t believe it until I tested 11 dt later! I know it’s a hard 2ww just try and occupy yourself!

Thank you 🙏 that’s exactly what I’m feeling a lot of nausea and dizziness

Sounds very positive! I don’t know but wouldn’t think progesterone could cause nausea

Possibly the progesterone. What symptoms are you asking if it’s progesterone? I had some mild cramping that I now believe was the embryo implanting and the uterus expanding. But progesterone is a cruel mistress as is the oestrogen if you’re taking that too. Tricky 2WW but from experience waiting until the end date to test is the best less anxious thing to do.

I have back pain dizziness nausea a lot of cramping I feel like it’s pulling on my lower area… I’m taking progesterone I have 6 more days to go 🙏

Hoping they’re real symptoms for you 🤞🤞🤞 I found oestrogen was the one that really misled me on the first FET whereas I’m not sure the progesterone caused so many symptoms

I have had three bfps (two successful) and two bfns over my IVF journey and I can honestly tell you it’s the drugs at this stage! I know it’s hard no to symptom spot but try and keep busy if you can. With my pregnancies, actual pregnancy symptoms didn’t start until around the 6 week mark. Good luck ♥️ Xxx

I got what I thought were strong pregnancy symptoms on my first 2ww from a fresh transfer (literally couldn't sleep as my boobs were so swollen and sore, was bloated, tired, had cramps) - that ended in a chemical around 5/6 weeks. The second fresh transfer I had zero symptoms and again ended in a chemical. I got BFP at 5dp5dt on both and think the only difference was I was on oestrogen for the first and not the second. For my FET I got what I think were very intense implantation cramps during the night for around half an hour and some light spotting - I assumed it had failed and it was my period as my doctors had messed up my progesterone, so I tested at 3dpt (no idea why) and it was a BFP. I didn't get any symptoms again until around 5 weeks when the nausea started (after around 6 weeks it was constant and intense, but tbh I felt the same on Progynova before my FET so I know oestrogen can also do that to me). This one has stuck.

So for me anything in the 2ww bar maybe implantation (and many women don't notice anything) it's the meds, and it's not been until HCG and other hormones are high enough that I got really noticeable symptoms. But everyone's different and so is each pregnancy.

Best of luck x
