Brown discharge on day 12 of 2 ww

Last night I had heavy brown discharge, was completely gutted. Put a pad on as I thought my period was coming, but nothing on it this morning. Still brown when I wipe ? And I didn't take my gel last night as I thought it was all over. Don't know what to do now ? Please some advice

Hey,

I've heard of ladies who had both outcomes. You must keep taking the medication. My friend had to take the medication up to 3 months of her pregnancy.

Hi I'm sorry to hear you're bleeding must be so worrying for you. I have heard of ladies on here that had bleeding and went on to get a BFP. Some ladies get implantation bleeding and I think it is normally brown.You still could be pregnant its def not over yet. Don't give up all hope. I bled in my first pregnancy at 7 weeks and it was like a period really full on. I was terrified that I lost the baby and was very surprised and happy to see a healthy baby on my scan! He's 17 now! Keep taking the meds and rest when you can and lots of fluids. Thinking of you. Wishing you a lovely BFP on test day 💕 X

Keep taking the meds as the ladies have said. The clinic told me. As many midwives have told friends and family who suffered bleeds in early pregnancy, that brownish colour means old blood, which they are far less worried about. Even if it's red, it doesn't mean anything hun. I won't say don't worry, because I know it's easier said than done! But I also know how good success stories jpd. A lady I know had heavy bleeding for first full trimester of each pregnancy she's ever had. Her eldest is expecting his first child anyday, I did prom hair and make up for her middle child last year, and her youngest has started senior school and a total belieber 😉.

i'm sorry to hear you're having this additional stress - as if the 2ww isn't hard enough! You should definitely keep taking the gels. Some women have brown discharge/spotting/full on bleeding and still get a BFP so it's not necessarily all over.

We are in next week for the SSR so things are very worrying in our house at the moment and I am finding myself on here when I should be working! - it is such a good network of support, we are all here and in it together so don't forget us.
