Hello, I'm due to have a natural FET cycle, but with an ovitrelle trigger shot (on the day I would usually have my LH surge) and also progesterone support (cyclogest pessaries from 5 days before transfer). I wondered if anyone else had had this protocol or similar, and would love to hear your experiences?
To be honest I've lost some trust in my clinic (they've made a few mistakes unfortunately) and so am wanting to check if this is a protocol other clinics have used, and if it's worked for anyone else. Thank you!

Yes I did a natural modified FET and this is the one that worked for me. I grew the lining naturally then I tested with opk’s twice a day. On the Sunday night I got a surge on the digital one (not on the others) and on the Monday I had a scan. She said to go with the surge and trigger later that day. My transfer would be on the following Sunday morning so progesterone to start the next day on the Tuesday. Hope this helps
Thank you hun, that's lovely to hear it worked for you, and congratulations! Also reassuring to hear your progesterone timings seem to be similar to mine.
Thank you! Glad that sounds similar. I actually think I took 24-36 hours still to ovulate after the trigger according to bbt chart which made it exactly the right time when it went in. Still awaiting the important 12 week scan though as I had a previous miscarriage after good 8 week scan so staying cautiously optimistic 😑🤞And good luck! We’re the same age too if that gives you more reassurance 😄
Hi, I did a natural FET with Ovitrelle but the injection was given by my clinic on transfer day rather than LH surge day. My clinic monitored me with blood tests to track my surge then transfer was 5 days after that.
Unfortunately it wasn’t successful but we are working towards another one next month hopefully and our clinic has suggested using the same approach so they must have had good success with it! Sorry not sure if that’s much help but the actual natural FET experience was completely fine even if the outcome wasn’t what we hoped.
Thank you so much for replying, it's interesting how many different variations there are of FET protocols. Wishing you loads of luck with your next transfer.
