On my 3rd round of clomid for PCOS, my partner has recently started experiencing ED which has never been a problem for us before.
His 2nd semen analysis has come back today, Morphology being 0%. On his first sample it was only 2% and thats why the test was repeated. He has been taking all the recommended vitamins yet the result is worse than previous.
Surely it’s pointless now me even taking clomid if the sperm aren’t the right shape how can they fertilise the egg?
I honestly feel like this is yet another blow, I feel heartbroken and don't think I can take much more. I feel the world is against us and we are just not destined to get the one thing we want the most.
I don’t really know the point of me posting this I guess I just needed to get it off my chest. We are both seriously starting to struggle mentally with this whole situation and every bit of positivity we had just isn’t there anymore.

Yes I think for your situation you will probably need to do ICSI, but I am not an expert. I can only imagine this is what the doctor suggests? Can I ask what vitamins he is taking? My husband’s was 4% and now 9%, he is been taking Proceive.
From what I’ve researched online I think you are right about the ICSI. He was advised to take a regular multivitamin plus Vit C, Vit D, Omega 3 and Zinc. He has a pretty balanced diet, exercises and only occasionally drinks alcohol.
Hiya I’m so sorry to read this. We were exactly the same motility, morphology were all below 4% we were told ivf icsi was the only option, we tried every vitamin recommended and when we went back to check, it was actually worse. It’s so tough I hope your both ok xxx
Hi, we have always done ICSI. We just changed clinics and they focused more on my husband. They prescribed him 40 days of antibiotics as they said if there is inflammation this cannot be diagnosed. He is just finishing the course of antibiotics and they said the best results will show in around thirty days from now however we did a test and his concentration is the highest it has ever been so I think the antibiotics worked. He also started taking vitamin E. He has been taking other supplements for two years but we never saw much improvement with those. He has also started accupuncture. I am no expert but in your case ICSI might be the best option.
