BFP- feel like the luckiest girl in the world

Hi all.

So today wasn’t test day but I have OHSS so the doctor said that we could test now... and we got a BFP! In the 3 years of trying I have never seen those two lines come up and it was so lovely! Feel so grateful and lucky to have been blessed. Just hope we have a sticky embie.

You girls have been amazing during all the times when I felt so down and had no hope. You are all amazing and will all be amazing mums soon. It’s still really early days for me so praying that it sticks.

Hi Lyeo,

Thank you for the advice. I think all of the women on this forum know that a positive pregnancy test is only the first hurdle. As I have said in the post- it is very early days for us and anything can happen. Three years is a long time to see those lines- so well I will not be jumping up and down- I will be celebrating getting this far. I appreciate the warnings but perhaps your wording was a little strong in the reply to my post. Again, thanks for the advice

Yes, I’m still in shock I think and taking it in! I bet your ecstatic and massive congrats hunny. Do you fee a little lost? Like you want to do all the things you’ve been dying to do for ages but then your like “it’s a bit early... wait for the 12 week scan!” I’m so over the moon- honestly never thought this day would happen! Xx

I don't think it's really sunk in yet! I know just how you feel. I turned 40 yesterday too, so it was the best present ever. 2 years ago I was single, and starting to think this would never happen too. Now I'm engaged to a man I adore (who was an existing friend so had been right under my nose all along), and pregnant! I'm so grateful and overwhelmed. The 12 week scan seems so far away though, you're so right! xx
