2 day Embryo Transfer - Experience

I said I wouldn’t do this but here I am.. symptom spotting everyday.. almost at the end of the two week wait.

My last cycle ended in chemical. I had all the symptoms, sore boobs, tiredness, headaches, cramps etc.

This time, I’ve barely had any. Other than a few cramps each day and lower back pain. Yesterday I went into panic mode.. I found brown drops of blood on my panty liner and thought this is it, it’s over. Ended up doing a clear blue test and it said not pregnant

Part of me is thinking maybe it’s too early to test? I had a 2 day transfer on Friday 8th October, my test day the clinic have given me is this Friday 22nd October. I’m thinking it should be later? Then again, maybe I should be real and accept its not worked.

Since yesterday evening, I’ve been getting a sharpish twinge on the right side of my pelvic.

Any experiences of 2 day transfers with no symptoms please?

Do you think it was too early to test? It was 12 days post transfer of a 2 day embryo.

Hey lovely - sorry you are going slightly crazy with all the 2ww woes. If its any consolation having been on here for years everyone is different and every 2ww is different. Symptoms can be medication, they can be pregnancy, they can be all in your head! No symptoms doesn't mean not pregnant as much as symptoms doesn't mean pregnant. Its a minefield!!!

The one thing I would say is when I had a day 2 transfer my test day was 17 days after transfer, so I agree yours does sound a little early.. but then again I know some clinics do much shorter 2ww.

I personally would test on your OTD but also maybe test again a few days later just to be sure?

I agree! It's a minefield. You can't help second guessing it all though 😞 I'm in my 2ww (embryo transfer was only two days ago though). I've had headaches, twinges and tiredness and then this morning - nothing. I'm driving myself mad reading into it. So I think I understand a part of how you're feeling right now. Just hang in there and try to distract yourself in the meantime.

My best friend recently got (naturally) pregnant and said she felt twinges for one day, swollen boobs etc but tested and it was negative. Two weeks later when her period still didn't come, she tested positive 🤷‍♀️ So it really does sound different for everyone.

Hi HaveFaith1, thank you for your reply. Good luck with your two week wait too x i think it’s the hardest part of all this journey but try and keep yourself busy. I was doing okay first week with it but this week I can’t stop googling!

Hi Daisy, Thank you for your reply. Yeah I was think it should be around Sunday / Monday when I should be testing. I called the clinic just now and they’ve advised tomorrow is the right day. So we’ll see. I agree with you, think I’ll do a test a few days after too just to be sure. Unless my period starts. I’ve also heard stories of ladies having a full blown period and being pregnant too 🤷‍♀️ I’m feeling nervous every time I go to the loo.
