Day 2 transfer!

Hello!

Yesterday I had a day 2 double embryo transfer because of only 2 fertilised eggs out of 4 recovered the other day. My previous cycles saw a day 3 and day 5 transfer although at that time I had double the number of fertilised eggs but with no success so far.

Owing to my age (43) my consultant & embryologist decided that’s it’s perhaps the best possible option for me. I’m not in very high spirits owing to this transfer. Was wondering if anyone else sailed the same boat.

I had only 2 fertilise. My clinic pushed to day 5 as that's their policy. They don't do day 3 transfers. I still have 1 frozen from that round. I've had a day 4 transfer at a different clinic. Hoping yours stick x

Wishing you the best! A 2 day transfer is new to me. We are getting ready to start IVF#6! My clinic will only do 3, 5 or 6 day. We will be doing a FET since we need to do testing. Sending you sticky vibes!

Sadly it didn’t go through.

It’s because of my age the consultant took the chances to send the embryos back to where they rightfully belong. But here’s sending all best wishes at your end.
