Cramps from 7 days post transfer

Hi Ladies,

This is my first time doing an embryo transfer with a 5 day fresh embryo. Have done two rounds of egg collection but not the transfer until now. I didn’t feel any symptoms the first 6 days other than tender breasts and a bit of an upset stomach from the progesterone pessaries. And then on day 7 I woke up early in the morning with intense cramping - combination of upset stomach and AF type cramps. My doctor ended up taking me off the progesterone pessaries and doubling up on the Lubion. My stomach calmed down but still have AF style cramps - especially when I’m standing.

My test day is on Friday, so 2 days away and I’m too scared to test until then.

Do I have a chance with having the AF cramping from day 7?

With my BFP that's the only symptom I had...AF like cramps 6 and 7dpt thought for sure AF was coming. Cramps are a good sign! Best of luck for test day 😁 xx

Hi Meg. Sometimes can be from all the manipulation during transfer, which sometimes can take a while to settle. Hopefully no urine infection is developing, so keep an eye out for any smells or temperature. Drink plenty of water and rest when you can. Hope all soon settles. Diane

Thank you so much Diane, I hope this is the case. I don’t think I have a urine infection but will keep a close eye on it and always try to drink lots of water.
