I had a day 2 embryo transfer 2 days ago and I have really bad cramps already. I know this won't be implantation cramps but I feel like I'm out already. My treatment was cut short and we only managed to get 1 embryo. Does anyone have any success stories on a 2 day transfer to try and help me feel more positive again. TIA

Day 2 transfer
Hi! My first time responding to anything on here! I had a 2 day transfer almost 3 weeks ago, and managed to get a positive result! We got 2 embryos but one didn't survive, so put all our hope's into this one.
I had stomach cramps but this was definitely to do with the cyclogest pessaries, took a while to get used to them. You're not out of the game yet, so just take it easy and see what that test result says in 2 weeks. Good luck xx
Its really common to have cramps after ET, particularly on fresh cycles its often your ovaries shrinking back and your body just responding to all the drugs - if you are on cyclogest or similar this can cause cramps too.
I have been on this forum for a few years and have seen plenty of day 2 transfers. The 2ww is the worst but just try and think positive and try not to stress.. all you can do is give your embryo a calm peaceful place to implant and grow. Masses of luck xx
Hi Daisy1245 thanks for your reply, yes I am on 6 x utrogestan pessaries a day. I am really hoping its that or everything else settling down. I have had a transfer previously but not as early as 2 days. It just felt so early that I almost felt like I was out before it was put back in. I have been doing all the mindfulness and eating the right things etc so I just have to hope for test day 🤞thanks again x
How did you get on with your 2WW? Xx
Hi I had a BFN yesterday. Absolutely gutted. Another negative and another round with nothing frozen. Im going to give some clinics elsewhere in the country a call this week and see if there are any other tests that they do to improve my chances. I just don't know whether it's time to admit defeat. I am 37 today and I just don't think time is on my side now either. Thank you for asking. Xx
