Im currently 4dp5dt Had embryo transfer on wednesday 17th of October. Test day 31st of October.
I know it’s a silly question as we ladies are all different but I’m after some advice, reassurance or just a ear to listen.
I’ve been having bad cramps Friday evening and yesterday morning as well as feeling a bit unwell. Got up in the middle of the night for a wee as I had the cramps and i felt quite warm in bed. No spotting etc. Today I’m fine, odd twinge or cramp. When should I expect implementation? Does everyone have spotting?

I think everyone is different in symptoms they get, and some ladies don't have any! I think implantation is 24-48 hrs after transfer. I'm sure everything you are feeling is normal, good luck to you xx
I had some cramping which went on all day 3dp5dt and the following 2 days I felt nothing, on day 6 I started with more symptoms, I held out until day 11 to test and got my bfp. No spotting for me. Good luck! Xx
Thank you for your reply! Congratulations on bfp! I’m trying to be positive but the negative thoughts creep up and I find myself googling rubbish. Hopefully my cramping is a good sign xx
I was exactly the same, the 2ww was so hard, I had to tear myself away from googling symptoms!! Fingers crossed this is your time xx
The symptoms seem to be different for everyone and its so hard not to read too much into each one, I know this. Good luck for OTD try to hold out for it best you can xx
As bad as the wait is, I think I’ve got the willpower to hold out as my fear of the test being negative puts me off thinkgin of doing it. Dreading test day already xx
Could definitely be implantation. Do not wish for spotting! Loads of us get spotting with implantation and it sends us all in a spin thinking it's game over! You are two days ahead of me as I had transfer on Friday.
Hi guys, I had my fresh transfer on Tuesday 16th Oct and I’m 5dp5dt today and becoming increasingly worried as I’m not feeling anything! If I really pay attention then perhaps some mild twinges here and there but that’s probably the ovaries settling back down or the progesterone pessaries.
I’ve been googling about symptoms around now and it seems most ppl feel something 😞 I have no idea how to deal with another failure.
It is too different for everyone to compare. Even comparing yourself with yourself you will find different reports. The most important thing to do is try to listen to your body and relax xx
Nicnac that all sounds positive. Exactly like Oneday I had my transfer on Tuesday 5dpt5dt and they only time I feel anything is shortly after I insert a pessary other than that absolutely heehaw, nothing. My DH has planned all these healthy dinners and I have taken time off work, but just feel like a complete fraud. My test date is Friday and I kind of don't want it to come, I can't face seeing the negative.
Did you have a single transfer? I had a blast and a compacting morula transferred. My test date is on the 30th Oct - have no idea how I’m going to last that long!
Hey! I had 2 put back in. Told me they were slow growers and at the morula stage. Wonder why my date is the 26th, seems early. I am way too scared to test early.
Hope this is positive for u. I’m testing next Tuesday 30th and getting symptoms here and there but so hard to tell what they mean. Hope urs is positive 🤞🤞🤞. Best wishes xx
Argh it’s just such a crazy time isn’t it. Try to be kind to yourself, eat nice things and try to put dr google to the back of your mind (although it’s pretty impossible) . It definitely seems like every transfer is different, with no rhyme or reason. Thinking of you and sending lots of love x x x
Hello, I had bad cramps day 3-5 after transfer and spotting day 4-5. I was sure it’s over and felt really down but week later got my BFP and 5 weeks today! So cramps can be a positive symptom. The way I was trying to think is I am being positive and believing until proven otherwise! Good luck 🤞
From 3dp 5dt i had constant AF cramps, sometimes so bad that it woke me in night, odd headache. Seriously thought I was out. I done a test 5dp 5dt and had a faint positive. I am today 6 weeks and 1 day. Dont rule anything out till test day xx
Hi, with my positive BFPs (2-one safe delivery and one 7wks miscarriage) I’ve felt cramps and general movement in my tommy around that time as you and without a test I knew is very positive sign. I wish you positive outcome too, not long to your test day, good luck x

Just an update for you! Been to the loo, when I wiped I had blood exactly like I would at the start of a normal period! Now I feel absolutely crushed. Maybe all my symptoms were the start of my period not implementation 😢😢 xx
There is still hope and this could be an implantation bleed. Have you let the clinic know? I had to let mine know if I had bleeding and they advised to test a little earlier as I thought it was my period too.
I am so sorry. I know it is so disappointing. I had this 8 days after the transfer just last week. See what the clinic says, they may advise a test earlier on xx
Ahhh Im really sorry to hear that! I had this on 2 of my cycles, its pretty gutting. I felt cheated that I didnt even get to test day. Are you on progesterone? Would your clinic allow you to up your dose?xx
Yes I’m on progesterone, I had it increased to 3 pessaries instead of 2 on Friday! I feel like I have just lost the only hope I had. My other embryos didn’t make it to freezing, so I only had this little one xx
Im sorry, I was in a similar situation ith my to cycles where I didnt have any frosties. You will have to continue your meds until test day. Big hugs.xx
Just phoned the clinic, the nurse was lovely, but it looks like it is going to be a negative, she was so apologetic. I have to continue with the pessaries until test day on the 31st just to give them the confirmed result. Thank you 😢😘
I didn’t have any spotting and got a positive 9dp 5dt. The only symptom I had was feeling a bit dizzy the day I cracked and tested early. Try not to google or symptom spot, it will drive you mad. Wishing you lots of luck xxx
Thank you all. Too me it’s definitely my period. I knew it was due yesterday but I just presumed it would hang off until at least test day, I’m only 6dp5dt. As it’s my first cycle I wasn’t 100% sure what to expect either. I guess this time was not my time. Still trying to be positive, and I will test on the 31st just Incase a miracle has occurred 🌟 xxx
