We’ve had 3 failed embryo transfers (2 fresh, 1 frozen) and discovered through a biopsy that I have slightly high uterine natural killer cells.
I’m desperate to hear about anyone’s experiences using steroids (prednisone or prednisolone) in a cycle that helped them get a BFP 💖 (or even if you used them and it still failed 💔).
I’d mostly I’d like to hear when you started, what dose, and how long you took them for.
Thanks so much in advance! Xx

Hi Wonder_dog! I just replied to you on another post. We had success on our 6th transfer (first time using steroids)… I also had an intralipid infusion the day before transfer xx
Keep me updated on your journey, i am also interested to know if I have the same issue.. I’ve only had one failed ivf (fresh cycle) so keen to find out sooner
Aw amazing congratulations! This is exactly the type of story I wanna hear 💖 Can I ask what stage you started taking them at and what dose? Thank you! X
It was the third round with my last embryo I also had my womb scraped which I think helped too ! Have you had that done ? I’m so sorry I cannot remember the dose I can get back to you and let you know ! Xx
I’ve just had my first ever BFP yesterday. My 3rd transfer but first with the immune protocol I started 20mg prednisolone & had an IVIG infusion 15 days before transfer & am booked for another on Sunday. Xxx
I previously had 3 failed transfers. I then went for an ERA test and a uterine biopsy for NK Cells. My era timing was out by 12 hours and they found I also had aggressive uterine NK cells.
I was prescribed 20mg prednisolone from baseline scan (day 3 of my cycle), my fourth transfer worked and I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant with twins. My clinic started weaning me off my steriods then at 12 weeks pregnant and all has been good since. I'm due for my 20 week scan in 2 weeks 🥰
