New to what seems to be a lovely community of people. I am a 33 year old female and have been pregnant twice both resulting in an ectopic pregnancy and the removal of both tubes.
The two occasions were a decade apart and so we have know for a long time that this would be our possible route on the way to parenthood. All baseline and early treatment scans have gone well and we are now 8 days into our first short protocol cycle. 225iu of Menopur and 250 Fyremadale. First scan showed 16 follicles 7 of which are at 1.4 cm. Second scan tomorrow.
Trying not to get excited about positive news and taking every day as it comes.
Any advice, guidance or words of wisdom welcome 🙂

Hello! Happy to have you here! I'm on my 3rd day of stims on a short protocol, 2nd round. I think you meant those 7 are 14 cm not 1.4 I hope, because your already at 8 days of stims. And good job for soo many follicles, my first time I had only 6. Your body is responding amazing to the treatment. In 2 days I think you'll take your trigger shot. And then after 36 hours you'll have the egg collection.
Thanks Ally, still very new to all the terminology but I hope I don't have 14cm follicles or I won't be able to move lol the scan today showed good progress and we will probably do an egg collection on Saturday 🤞 good luck with this round, will it be a fresh or frozen transfer if successful?
Hi! It will be a fresh transfer. Firgers crossed to you too. I think your follicles are 14 mm. That's how they measure them. They should be around 18mm before they can be collected.
There was really good growth today with about 6 at the 18 mark and one at 21 😳. Another scan tomorrow and then it should be EC on Saturday. How are you getting on with the stims Hidden ?
Ooo super. Praying for them to be healthy and grow into perfect blastocysts. I'm currently on my 3rd day of stims, feeling a little tired and I'm starting to feel twinges in my ovaries...that's a good thing....waiting for my appointment on Saturday to see how things are going down there😁😁😁 hopefully this time we'll get a blastocyst.
