First IVF cycle starting..

Hello Ladies

we are starting our first ivf cycle from this month..juat received my medications today.. really scared about injections.. And will start my first nasal spray day 21 from tomorrow morning

is anyone else in the same boat???

I am having my egg collection tomorrow, I had a literally passing out sick kind of feeling when it came to injections I worked myself up so much and it was all over nothing!!! Hnoestly the easiest thing.. you will do one and master it like I did.. the needles are so thin you cant even feel it none of them!

Hi MK05! Im in the middle of my first cycle. Just wanted to wish u all the best! You'll do great! I found the first injection a bit scary but honestly they are fine. Some u dont even feel and others are a bit uncomfortable but only for a few seconds! My hubby has been doing mine but i had to do 2 myself as he wasnt able to get out of work and i surprised myself that they were actually ok! I think the thought of it is worse than actually doing it. I did have quite a few symtoms with synarel nasal spray but nothing crazy and they subsided a good bit when i started injections. Wishing u all the best

Don’t be too scared of the injections, you’ll get used to them quickly. My OH does mine and I always use ice to numb the area first. You’ll be fine and it will whizz by! xx

I’m on day 12 of my down Reg injections I didn’t have to do the nasal spray.

The injection isn’t as bad as you think.

Hi,

I have a phobia with injections and honestly they were fine. The needles are thin so they don’t hurt. My hub had to do it the first two days but I did the rest after that. My advice would be to do it on your own... I couldn’t do it with my hub there the first time but did it fine on my own without him there! In all honesty, I found them quite nice. Sounds really weird but having something to do at the same time every night made me feel like I had some control and made the cycle go really quickly. Best of luck to you xxx

Hi!! I just started my first cycle with nasal spray three days ago!

You are gonna think I am silly but I dislike the nasal spray more than the injections 😆. I just try and do It without too much thinking...

Hello girls

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. It's nice to hear from you all. I did my first nasal spray today and it wasn't too bad. I felt something in my throat after a minute or so which wasn't very nice. But then it was all OK.

Now Im feeling bit excited as well that hopefully I'll conceive who knows. So let's see how it goes... Long wait till March for results ... Anyway
