First ivf cycle

Hi everyone

I’m starting my first ivf cycle on the 9th of May. Is anyone else starting at the same time, that would like to form a little group? Please get in touch.

I have my injection training on Friday. I’m feeling Ok about it so far. So many unknowns, I’m trying not to over think everything. We are paying for our cycle and hopefully we will have a choice of 1 or two 5 day embryos to put back in. What are people’s thoughts on one or two embryo transferred? Any advice would be appreciated.

Want to wish you luck on your first round 🤞🏻 it’s not as scary as you may think. Try to stay positive. The hospital I was at only lets you have 1 embryo put back in but if I had the choice I would choose 2. Good luck x

Hello! Good luck! By the time you start I’ll hopefully just be waiting to start my 2ww! I had two put back last time and probably will this time... Xx

Good luck jhenderson! We only had one embryo in my 1st round, so the discussion never arose for us.

Emu2016, I'll *hopefully* be starting my 2ww then aswell. I should be starting stimming on Sat 21st, all being well! Good luck with your round xxx

I have only ever had 1 put back (x 3 cycles) and had x 3 BFPs but all MC. But first time I was 33 so not eligible for multiple transfer on NHS, and 2/3 times I only had one embryo. I am about to start a donor egg cycle and we are definitely transferring 2!! Best of luck to you 😍
