Bleeding after bfp

I got positive last week and today something vierd feeling star in stomach and bleeding start too

It’s common to bleed in the first trimester, you should contact your clinic and wear a pad to monitor the amount of blood loss

If it’s brown it suggests it’s old blood, I bled at week 7 and it was brown, bright red, dark red and brown again but everything was okay

I was advised to put a pad on to monitor the amount of blood and contact the clinic - it doesn’t mean it over, but seek advice from your clinic

Hey! Congrats on the BFP! I bled early on in both of my pregnancies. It is always scary seeing blood but it is so common. I'd say keep an eye on it. I moved to Ukraine. I also got my BFP there on Tuesday last week on my OTT. However, 3 days after, the Friday just gone I was getting AF like cramps and...in the afternoon when I went for a wee, there was quite a lot of very brown blood on my panty liner. It continued to be there when I wiped throughout the evening and slowly faded into light pink blood and then completely stopped. But I understand bleeding is common in the first trimester. If it’s heavy enough to be on a sanitary towel, you would need to go to A&E..

But i have some clots too and bleeding stopped after one pad.

You need to contact your clinic asap. I had 2 bleeds during my first weeks of pregnancy, the second one being really heavy with clots (as your 2nd picture and more) . I went immediately for a scan both times and thankfully the baby was fine, I had to stay in bed though afterwards for a few weeks. I didn't have any pain wich doctors said was positive. You need to contact your clinic. They can advise you best. Bleeding and clots don’t always mean the worst but your clinic may be able to get you in for HCG blood test to work out what’s going on. Once for me this type of bleeding was a miscarriage and one time it was a subchorionic hematoma which resulted in a successful pregnancy so unfortunately only your clinic (and time) will be able to tell what’s happening. I think they need to take another in a few days to make sure it’s doubling ☺️ But that’s good it’s in normal range and I assume that means you went to your clinic? xx

I bled from 7dp5dt until 13 weeks. I'm now 27 weeks and all is fine xx
