I had a 5 day FET on 17th May and had a BFP when I did my test on OTD.
Since then I’ve had lots of cramping and been really tired. This morning though I’ve had sharp pains, a heavy feeling and some bleeding when I wipe. Mainly dark but a bit of bright as well. Do you think this is a miscarriage? I suspect it is but any experiences good or bad that you can share would be welcome.
Thank you xxx

Firstly I would like to send you a big hug. Any discharge whatsoever sends the frighteners to us all. I would take comfort in the fact that a lot of people do get some kind of bleed at some point and still go on to have a full term pregnancy.
What you need to do is get in touch with your clinic - they may advise to up your meds and take rest until you stop. They would be best to give that advice as they know your case inside out.
Secondly, can you tell us if it is red blood? And whether you have to use a pad?
Thirdly I would get in touch with your epu (early pregnancy unit) at your local hospital. They will be able to do scans / bloods and monitor you.
I would only get in touch with the epu if it is red blood.
I really wish you every success with this pregnancy. We get lots of twinges whilst our body moves organs around and gets ready for the pregnancy in the early stages. Also whilst the egg nestles in. It is quite often confused with cramping.
Good luck xxx
Oh god love you poor thing. I’m so sorry you are going through this.
I had bleeding a day after our longed for BFP ( nearly 6 years of trying) I wish I could say I have a happy ending and give you hope but mine ended up as a chemical pregnancy loss.
I do know lots of ladies including my sister , my sister in law who have bled very heavily like a period and have been okay; miscarriage is not that common it’s only 1-4. And bleeding in pregnancy is not always a sign of a miscarriage. Bleeding in early is very common. It does need to be checked out by a doctor tho; hopefully they will arrange an early scan for when you are six weeks. Some might run HCG blood tests personally mine didn’t ; I got a scan referral to EPU.
If you are filling a pad every hour or so you need to go to A and E; that was the advice the early pregnancy unit gave me.
Try to remain positive till you have a reason not be ; this could settle down and be okay it might be due to second implantation stage my sisters was. It’s not always light bleeding.
It won’t mean much but I am thinking of you and I truly hope everything is okay ❤️❤️❤️ xoxo
Hi I had significant bleeding at 6 weeks - bright red with blood clots the size of my hand. It was over night with severe cramping. I went to a and e and they sent me to EPU. Baby was fine with a heartbeat, we were shocked and relieved. I have something called an SCH which is effectively a blood clot. If you can, I’d try to contact your clinic as my bleed started with spotting and they told me to rest and increase progesterone. When EPU discovered the blood clot I was put on bed rest until the follow up scan. If you can try to rest and get some advice as I’m sure that really helped my bleeding to stop. All the best xxx
I'm hoping everything is going to be ok, hun. The 1st thing to do is to contact with your clinic/nurse. It's too early to think of a mc. Brown discharges are quite often at this stage. I had some with my son, adding some pinkish spots. Thought no luck, but sweet boy did his best to make himself comfortable inside me. Praying for you, hun.
