I just wanted to know if any of you lovely ladies had managed to get a BFP without experiencing implantation bleeding??
My DH and I are praying we conceive naturally after a failed icsi cycle in November 2015 😢 We just need a break from all the drama before deciding what to do next in terms of another self funded IVF cycle.
My AF is due this Friday but I feel a bit weird. A little bit nauseaous when I wake up and peeing more than normal.
I haven't had any spotting so have convinced myself it's all in my head...
But is spotting the norm and ALWAYS the case??

I know. It's very hard. Our bodies can be cruel and trick us with the symptoms were looking out for!! Infertility is the worst roller coaster I've ever been on. If you feeling different though I would take that as positive 😊 When I was pregnant with my sons I didn't have any concrete symptoms until bfp I just felt 'different' wishing you luck Hun xxx
ttc since 2011 same as you, trying to prevent more than anything up to 1st son, had them both without even trying, then first time we try to get pregnant, nada. Got referred to assisted fertility where they discovered dh has low sperm count and I've only got 1 ovary. So we were very lucky with our sons. Don't qualify for Nhs funding and dh said from the start he wouldn't be able to hack a sperm donor, which I understand. Xx
Gosh... I think we're twinning misswinky34!! I have 2 older girls from a previous relationship... 20 and 18. I too only have 1 ovary and using an egg donor just wouldn't be for me. My hubby has a son from a previous relationship who lives with us and I treat as my own 💞 We wanted to wait until we were married to add to our family with our own lil one but 3 years later... and nothing. I didn't realise the longing to have our own lil mix up of DNA was that important... But now it's not happening it's all that I can focus on!!
We didn't qualify for NHS funding either so self funded our first cycle but it was a struggle financially. It's all the drugs and blood tests that bump the costs up... It's so hard.
I feel upset that I pretty much chucked 7k down the drain although I know if it had worked... it wud have been the best spent 7k of our lifetime!!!
Dh has a grown up son from his first relationship too!! Lol we have no money for treatment I'm afraid! We considered releasing some equity from the house but we're just keeping everything crossed and hoping for a miracle! I just turned 36 and we said we would give it till 40 and then call it a day. With one ovary too I'm not even sure I ov every month anyway but we've done it twice before so never say never!! Xx
I'm sure u will get ur miracle 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Your age is a really good advantage where I feel like I'm past it lol!!! But ur as old as u feel I guess and I'm pretty immaturefor my age haha.
I'm sure u do ovulate every month as when one ovary has issues or is missing the other takes over.
They did do some sort of test that looked at the quality and number of eggs and they said it was a good number, but the issue doesn't lie with me its with dh. Don't get me wrong I bet when I hit 40 I will move the goal posts again. I just shouldn't have took for granted the fact we concievedso easily in the past. I work in a nursery and there's so many pregnant parents it's really hard everyday. Anyway. Enough of me whinging. Do you have any more symptom to speak of? 😊 You may be lucky, everyone I have chatted to on This network has ended up pregnant. Lol maybe you can keep up the streak !! Xx
I can only imagine how hard it is working with all those lovely bundles of joy!! And I know what u mean about everywhere you look u see pregnant women I thought it was just me!!
Oooohhh I hope u sprinkle ur baby dust on me too haha. I just feel really tired and having a few twinges now and then but like I said I think it's all in my head 😁😁 but hey I'm still hoping for a miracle!!
I'm currently on my 2ww. Transfer was 6.4.16 I haven't had any spotting but they told me not to worry either way. I was told if I didn't get any spotting it was nothing to worry about cause not every lady will experience implantation bleeding. Last night I had the most awful cramps woke me up I felt very hot too I thought that's it my period is here I had to get up and check and nothing. Try not to let it worry you easier said than done I know!! I'm just keeping everything crossed for our test date on 19th. Fingers toes and everything crossed for us. Lots of love xx
The 2ww is soooooo hard. You just need to make sure u keep urself busy. I had 2 weeks off work but if we decide to go through another cycle I'm going to go back after a couple of days. Too much time and Google... do not mix. I felt like I was going crazyyyy 😩
The only symptoms I got was lower back pain , cramping and very painful boobs! Have started wearing a lot more and sickness is starting to kick in! Lol so far so good though! 😊
Hi, MaiLei! I guess this happens not to all women. Once in some of my previous posts I wrote about a friend of mine. They conceived their baby#1 naturally without problems so to say. But in 30 she lost her ovary. And connected this with their trouble conceiving for baby#2. They've done all necessary tests, the results came in ok. Here closer to what you're asking about (Sorry for this long introduction but you may see the point.) She experienced not bleeding but spotting during implantation with her baby#1. Now having conceived with baby#2 she didn't experience the one. Even though having had a previous surgery. I just thought this could be interesting. Is this the result of medical invasion or not? Unfortunately I have never experienced the one. All our previous tries ended in failure. Now patiently waiting for the miracle (de ivf program, round#1, Biotexcom clinic. Thankfully donor matching program has been finally completed.)
