Starting IVf

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all doing well.

For my upcoming cycle I will be on Menopur 375, Fyremadel 250, Gonasi and then cyclogest after transfer. I have a low amh hence the higher doses.

Anyone got any advice going onto these medications? Or any positive stories 😉

Hey! Is this your first cycle? If so I'd say give yourself plenty of time when you do the injection the first few times. My husband and I watched all the tutorials and read the instructions. In the end it's not that bad. I wrote out a schedule for myself so I could tick things off and note down where I injected.

Go easy on yourself as it's a lot of hormones going in, your body will be working hard!

I have low AMH too so was on the maximum dose of medication.

Thank you so much for your reply. I had a surgery last yr and had to self inject blood thinners so I’m hoping to be ok ( 🤞🏻 ) I hear I’ve cubes are good too lol xx

Oh then you'll have no trouble with the injections! Yeah I've seen people mention ice cubes and things, I didn't do any of that though (mainly because I only just read about that today 🤦🏽‍♀️) x
