Hey guys, I think the fact that we have our first scan on Wednesday is stirring a bit of anxiety!
I used to suffer really badly with health anxiety but almost 3 years ago did a lot a work and have managed to deal with it so well since. But tonight oh my! I’m on fragmin and aspirin this pregnancy until 12 weeks, I’m bruising so much which I know is common but I’m bruising on my inner thighs where I’m not even injecting. Today I’ve just had a bit of a foggy head on and off and pretty much since our BFP if not a little before I’ve been so lightheaded multiple times during the day when I get up I go dizzy (do have naturally low blood pressure). I know hormones and things can play a part in the later and fragmin is obviously going to cause bruising but I can’t help but worry this evening!
Anyone else worried about these things and everything been ok? Or just become mega health anxious during pregnancy? Also did anyone have blood monitoring whilst on fragmin?
Thanks x

I'm using Clexane and the bruising is terrible, i'll be on them daily until 37 weeks and then for 6 weeks after the birth if all goes well. Try injecting as slow as possible and dont touch the area much after. As far as the foggy head is concerned, I had the same between 6-7 weeks, I had to get up slowly otherwise I felt like I was gonna pass out. Eating little and often helped me.
It's such an anxious time, all you can do is try and keep busy and have faith that all will be well x
Thank you lovely! I already feel more level headed this morning, I think it just crept up on me last night! Bless you that’s a good whopper, my legs are similar. I know it’s all worth it if it helps us bring our little babies home 🤞🏽
Can’t speak to the bruising as I didn’t use that Ned hut Yes, the lightheaded feeling was super common for me in the first few weeks of pregnancy and for all 3 of my medicated cycles. The drugs really got to me!! I have low blood pressure also and it seems like I have more brain fog because of it! My OB is not worried; try your best not to let it overwhelm you but check in with your Dr or nurse when you need to, that’s what they are there for! I struggle with medical anxiety as well. Regular visits to my OB have helped, also my dr said when I get worried I can always come in for an extra appointment. Having good understanding support goes a long way! I hope you have a good team that can reassure you and offer additional support when needed. You are not alone!
