Hello, I had a transvaginal ultrasound scan today to look at my lining, general health and follicles today in preparation for my next ivf cycle. I had the scan on day 2, when the report has come back the report states multiple follicles! The ivf Centre want to know the amount and cannot believe it wasn’t recorded. I’m worried now there will be no record, will the lady who did my scan of taken photographs I worried the evidence from the scan cannot be retrieved. I did ask her at the time and she said 6/8 follicles on each side but worried I won’t be able to get this info in writing now. Has anyone any advice please?

Things like this can be so stressful can't they!! You just assume everybody is on the same page and knows what's expected, but then you - the poor patient, are left chasing up everything. All you can do is contact the place that did the scan and ask - probably the sooner the better. Good luck, hope you can get hold of your results xxx

Hi Tilly. Like you, I can't believe there is no record of your recent scan. Obviously get in touch and ask for a copy at least. Sounds like it was OK though, as you need 15 follicles in total. Good luck! Diane
