Severe heavy bleeding and cramps at 5dpt?

Hi this is my first round of ivf and everything was going well until it got to 5dpt and I woke to severe pain and continuous heavy bleeding. I won’t find out until next week from a consultation of them looking into it but I’ve looked all around forum and not noticed anyone else experience this problem. Has anyone else experienced this to eventually get a BFP on next round?

Hi I have never experienced anything like that but I hope you were able to feel some relieve or get some help. I would have gone to the hospital in fear it could be erotic! But hey what do I know I just over worry a lot. Happy baby dust and hope you get your BFP.

I experienced a heavy period which included some clots (sorry if TMI) on day 11 after my transfer. It’s day 14 tomorrow and the bleeding has just stopped tonight. I still have to take a pregnancy test in the morning for the clinic but by the heaviness of the flow I don’t have much hope

Hello! I had heavy period like bleeding between 8dp5dt and 11dp5dt and got my BFP on Saturday. I had two fresh embryos transferred. On speaking with my clinic on Monday, they said that the bleeding could be from an irritated cervix, from implantation bleeding or that I've possibly lost one embryo and carried on with the other. She said that heavy implantation bleeding isn't uncommon. Just try your best to relax. Waiting around to find out what has happened is the absolute worst. I was completely convinced that I was out last week and had almost given up taking my progesterone as I had so little faith. I'm still not convinced until I have my 7wk scan but I'm just trying to take it that I'm not out yet. I wish you all the very best 🥰.
