Hello all, just trying to seek a little advice and support. I’m 6 weeks pregnant further to egg donation FET but on Saturday I experienced some heavy bleeding and was rushed to A&E - they said my progesterone is low and further to a inconclusive scan they sent me home. All they could see is a gestation sac and yolk sac but nothing else so I have to repeat the scan in a week. In the meantime I keep on having some light spotting (brownish) whilst my clinic say progesterone levels are within the range for them and to wait for the next scan and stay in bed.
Needless to say I’m devastated, as this would be my third miscarriage and really was hoping that donor egg would somehow be my lucky moment.
I can’t speak or react and I’m scared I will be so psychologically devastated to lose all kind of hope.
Does anyone have some positive story of heavy bleeding in early weeks?

I had lots of various spotting throughout this pregnancy & been okay!
I had brown & pink spotting @6.5 weeks, brown spotting @8 weeks & fresh blood with small clots @10 weeks 1 day. I had my scan last week & like you thought the worst & was amazed to see my baby was fine, measuring right size, good heartbeat & no obvious reason for bleeding.
The midwife told me unless you have severe abdominal pain & are bleeding incredibly heavy that it wasn’t a concern. The fact you haven’t got cramping is very good sign- miscarriages are normally accompanied with pain.
I am sorry to hear of your previous losses-awful. I had a chemical pregnancy last year & it was so heartbreaking. It’s made me worried more with this pregnancy .
I hope it was just too soon to see much on the scan & your next scan goes better xoxo
My friend was told she had a miscarriage at 10 weeks due to a big bleed and they scanned her a few days later, baby was still in place snug and cosy. She had a bit of spotting after the big bleed then the consultant discharged her back to midwives once it all settled down. She's now 32 weeks. Keeping fingers crossed for you.
Hang in there. I have had several loses too, chemical pregnancy, missed miscarriage and it makes you so paranoid going through your next pregnancy. I had a bleed at 7 weeks and convinced myself that was it. I too had moved onto donor egg cycles. At my scan all was fine and baby was exactly where it needed to be. It's so hard but stay strong if you can till your next scan xx
At 6 weeks it’s probably still too early to see on a scan much more than what you’ve seen, so when you go back next week it could be all changed!
I spotted weeks 5-6, then bled heavily weeks 8-12, due to a clot! Was scanned several times as kept having heavy gushes and thought for certain baby was lost. I am now 30 weeks pregnant. It ain’t over till it’s over and you still have every reason to think you’re pregnant 😊
Can't offer any personal experience as I haven't managed to get that BFP yet but really hoping that everything is ok. I have seen a few ladies on here with bleeding and it is early to see anymore than the sac at this stage! Fingers crossed for you!!🤞xx
Hi, just wanted to wish you well, I hope everything works out for you. I'm not as experienced as the other ladies here, we are counting down to the start of treatment in Dec. Just wanted to send you my well wishes xx
I also had a donor cycle and had a big bleed with clots at 6 weeks and scan showed an empty sac. A week later we got a heartbeat and I’ll be 20 weeks tmw with a little girl. I carried on spotting until about 13 weeks. There is still hope.
Sorry for your previous losses. No advice but couldnt read this post without saying anything. I hope your week goes quick and you are reassured that your little bean is ok. Sending u lots of prayers, well wishes and lots of good luck at your scan. 💖😘🤗🤞
