After fighting to stay on Lubion for a bit longer I am currently on zumenon 3 times per day, 1 Lubion injection in the morning and 2 Utrogestan pessaries in the evening. My clinic have said to stop the meds at 10 weeks. I only have enough Lubion to last to 10 weeks so will be stopping that along with the zumenon but I feel really nervous about stopping all progesterone cold turkey.
I have some extra Utrogestan pessaries so I am tempted to wean off them slowly to 12 weeks. Any recommendations as to how to go about it? Should I just drop the Lubion and take my 2 evening pessaries until 11 weeks then take 1 evening pessary until 12 weeks? Or should I replace Lubion with pessaries and do 2 x pessaries morning and evening until 11 weeks then 1 pessary morning and evening till 12 weeks?
I am probably overthinking it but just so nervous to stop completely!! What did everyone everyone else do!?

Hi if it was me and I had spare lubion and pesseries I would seriously consider using them all up, I think I would feel more comfortable doing that.. but I'm not an expert obviously just my opinion! If I get that far I'm sure that's what I'll be doing!! But I have never done it but I'm sure others on her have and can advice you better. Good luck either way
I was told to stop gradually between weeks 9 and 10, so I don't think you need to replace the lubion after week 10, especially if the clinic has told you to stop then. And you can reduce the utrogestan gradually over a couple of weeks if that makes you feel better. It's hard to let go of the emotional crutch, but it will be totally fine!!
Hi. I'm a believer in doctor and if they say to stop I would stop. You can always talk to them about your worries but they have their reasons for prescribing medication in a certain way. That's me anyway x
