Postponed fet

So I was supposed to have my FET next Monday but guess what, my lining is not good enough. It's only 5.5mm . I know it's not the end of the world and my next scan is on Sunday now... What do I do?????

Yes, they topped it up to 10mg. It's just ruins all my plans , like the last week of my work I will have to spend at home isolating... I'm changing jobs and was hoping to be there to say goodbye to everyone... And God just laughs at my plans 😅

Aww so annoying!! It’ll be worth it though. I’ve put so many plan on hold over the past 2 years for IVF and I’m sure it’ll be ok in the end! X

the uncertainty is so awful, isn’t it! I’ve had so many plans change…. Take your oestrogen, try some pomegranate juice and Brazil nuts (apparently) and there are some yoga exercises online that are meant to help blood flow…. Keep yourself busy as much as you can and you’ll get there 💪 xx

Better a cancelled FET than a wasted embryo on a thin lining. Maybe you’re body isn’t quite ready to do it’s thing. And maybe by Sunday it’ll be ok 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 sending hugs 😘💐

Its so heart breaking having the potential of a delayed or cancelled FET due to lining. I've been there. Have they told you what minimum they would like you to get to?Lining can improve quite quickly. I've tried everything - its all worth a go isnt it?

- Additional oestrogen (if 10mg doesnt work this cycle it can be increased - I've been on 12mg plus patches)

- Pomegranate juice

- brazil nuts

- Raspberry Leaf tea

- Raspberry Leaf supplements

- gentle walks to get the blood flowing

- hot water bottle on the uterus

- accupuncture

- beetroot juice

I had to go on viagra too in the end to get the blood flowing to the womb

Good luck with it all, but if they do cancel, its probably better than risking an embryo into an environment that isnt quite perfect yet xxx

Ironic isn't it. The last thing we want is sex and they put us in Viagra 😂Thanks for advice. I've stocked on pomegranate juice 🍷

Hey , I can completely relate to you - I have had 3 FET cycles cancelled because of thin lining.

Take it easy , have the nuts , tea , walks etc and stay positive !

A quick update, we are going ahead with FET! The lining improved and is 8mm now and looking nice 😁 Brazil nuts and pomegranate juice must have had something to do with it!

The transfer will be on Friday 23. Exciting!!!!
