for you ladies that have done a FET what did you do? Like what medication was you on, how long did it take? Etc....I'm having to do a FET due to mild OHSS this cycle so freezing my embies tomorrow at day 5 got to wait another 3 cycles to get started 😞 But I suppose it's the best for my health and the baby's if I was to get pregnant now..

TIA xx

Hi I had the same issue, I had my ICSi in January, but couldn't have a fresh transfer due to risk of OHSS. I started my FET treatment in March. I think they like to leave a little gap so your body has time to recover from your egg collection. It worked for me and I am now 7 weeks pregnant. They know what they are doing and want to give you the best chance possible, I know you just want to get on with it, but its probably best to wait. Good luck with your FET x

Hi Kim,

I was on Progynova tablets, then they started me on pressaries and progesterone injections aswell 5 days before transfer.I think the normal timing for transfer is about 21 days after you start taking the tablets, mine was a bit longer as they had to up my dose of medication as lining was not thick enough. The pressaries are fidly and not nice, but I guess thats what we have to go through. I am still on all medication till my 7 week scan tomorrow, then I guess they will advise on change of medication. It will be worth the wait, I know its frustrating though !

Hi

I'm just in the middle of my FET now. I saw them on day 25 of my cycle (normally day 21 but coz of my cycle length it was 25) had an injection into my bum. Had a period due a week after injection which happened and then saw them a week later again for scan and I also started progynova that day. Have another scan booked on the 15th May and start the pessaries later that week and hopefully ET on the 24th May if my womb lining is thick enough xx

Hi hun.. in my fet cycle too. So progynova tablet started on day 2 of my cycle. Day 11 my womb lining was 9.8mm with the 3 layers etc. My transfer is on day 20. I thought they wanted to scan me on day 19 but because my lining is already good they felt it wasn't nessasery. I have no injections and the only thing I would say in terms of side effects is bloating and water retention. Do feel quite down but I am not sure if that's the worry. I asked for my embryos to be stored in twos so I am having 2 hatching ones put back in on 14th May. Hope everything goes well for you. Xxx
