Double Transfer

So we are going for our 3rd transfer before doing another full cycle. We have 3 embryos left an A grade and 2 C grades, our consultant has suggested a double transfer and is happy for us to go ahead on my next cycle.

Quick Background TTC 2.5 years, pco, endo treated. Natural pregnancy ended in blighted ovum. First FET March early miscarriage. Second FET last month BFN. Thrombophylia screening normal.

The clinic have said there is nothing they would want to check/test at present and are really happy for us to crack on.

Nervous, excited, wondering if we should have NK cell testing done privately before just to rule it out or just put out hopes into this next transfer! My cycle should start in about 3 weeks, natural FET so would be expecting to have the transfer in about 6 weeks.

Double double double - mixture of emotions about this but I think we are going to go for it! Does anyone know do they usually put similar grades in , so would they be likely to put both Cs in as opposed to an A and C?

X

My clinic looked at my frozen blastocysts and grouped them in pairs for a double transfer. Most clinics will say don’t put a top quality A grade back with a much lower one as there is some science to suggest that you can jeopardise the success of both but them my friend was told she could put an AA back with a BC?

Personally I’d put the 2 Cs back first and leave your A to go in next x

Hi Mai. Just wanted to wish you all the best with the transfers. Remember to continue with all prescribed medication should you have any spotting at all - there will be two, remember. Also, if not tried before, perhaps mention whether you could be helped by low dose soluble aspirin and/or heparin, which can help with good blood flow to your womb lining, and hopefully prevent any clot formation. Eating pineapple core is supposed to have a similar effect too. Plese be brave and do your test on the day recommeneded by your clinic. Lecture over, and good luck! Diane
