Test day!

Hi

Myself and my partner are on our first round of recipricol IVF. My eggs and her body. Today was our test day, we had 2 tests from the clinic and did them both this morning. We were devastated when both came back negative. We called the clinic and they told my partner to stop her medication (pessaries and HRT tablets) and we would have a consultation to discuss our next steps when we are ready.

We had also got a clearblue digital test and decided around 5 hours later to tale that... just to confirm our negative. However that came up as Pregnant 1-2 weeks! Obviously very confused we called the clinic back who told my partner to restart taking her meds again and we are booked in for a blood test tomorrow.

As you can imagine we are going out of our minds and I wondered if anyone else had a false negative test from the clinic?

Its been one hell of a day! Yes we are booked in first thing tomorrow morning for a blood test. We just don't know how to feel! X

Hey keeping everything crossed. Our first time we used the tests from clinic on off oak test day. Showed nothing. I had sore boobs the lot. So waited 24hours don’t a clear blue exactly same as you 1-2 weeks pregnant. Unfortunately we lost at 5 weeks but I’m hoping yours is a sticker come on xx

Thank you all for your replies. Unfortunately blood test has come back with really low HCG levels meaning they think it is a chemical pregnancy/early miscarriage. We are heartbroken and so confused. I know that nothing is ever 100 percent with IVF but we had the highest quality embryo and no fertility issues so we were naively confident. Hoping to get more answers once we are ready to have a consultation follow up appointment.
