Girls, please help. I definitely had my period at the start of the week. Red blood, filled tampons and pad! It stopped on Friday. My hubby and I are phoning the clinic tomorrow so just to be sure - I took the last pregnancy test I had in my house. It came up positive but very faint. I then found an old one from our clinic and it came up positive too. Surely this can’t be correct? It was definitely negative 9dp and 10dp! I’m now very, very scared. What could the huge bleed have been? I’ve been reading a lot on Google that it could be ectopic? Does anyone have any advice? I’ll be phoning the clinic first thing in the morning
Hi all I spoke to the clinic who told me that if the bleeding has stopped I need to continue with pessaries and they’ve booked me in for an early scan. They said that if I have more bleeding or begin to get any pain, I’ve to phone them back. My clinic is 2 and 1/2 hours so they don’t want to have to take me through for bloods unless they need to.
Still very scared x

I can’t advise sadly but wanted to send you positive thoughts and hope everything is ok. Hoping that it just took a little longer for your HCG levels to come up. Xxxx
Sending love and good luck. Try to stay calm and hope you get some answers.
Your tests look quite strong? I would test again in the morning and compare xx
Hi lovely. Did you do any transfer? Or you think its natural? The Alere test isnt very sensitive and this a very good line. Its also too dark for a chemical in my humble opinion. Hope clinic can offer you some support. But very tempted to wisper congratulations xxx
First of all, call the Early Pregnancy Unit (EPU) to have blood test done. Repeat them after 48 hours to see how things are progressing. If that goes well, as soon as the HCG levels go above 2K, have a scan to see if the pregnancy is in uterus.
Sometimes women do bleed even during healthy pregnancies.
Those tests look pretty dark which would suggest a strong positive!! Have a word with your clinic, perhaps they could do some bloods for you?! Good luck.xx
