Negative Frozen Transfer Test 10 DPT

Hi Ladies,

I have a frozen transfer on the 12th Feb, tomorrow is my test date but last night I decided to do a test the hospital gave me last night and it was negative, I am so low and depressed, I had 2 put back in cause of my age of 39 and they both thawed well and was told they were both over 90 per cent good. I am testing tomorrow morning my official test date but doing last night is quite clear its negative.

Has anyone been in this position and still had a positive? sorry ladies just looking for some hope got no one to talk to female company wise as no one in our families know anything. xx

There are ladies on here who have tested the night before and got a negative, but positive the next day.

Thanks so much for your words. But I am sure now I am 100 per cent out. I tested last night and did a test 20 mins ago again amd still negative so 2 tests cant be wrong. Today is 11 days past 5 day blast it cant be wrong. Xx just depressed and devasted again.

Just remember that first morning urine is meant to be the best to use..x

We also had our FET transfer on the 12th, but our test date isn't until Tuesday coming.....

I wish you all the best and hope you get the result u want xxx your test date is a bit later than mine? I have been told by hospital that if test os negative tmw morning stop all medication amd that the end of that. Good luck pray it worls for uxxx

I can’t give you any positive response I’m afraid but I am in the same situation. Frozen transfer and obvious it’s now over. AF due tomorrow and the usual spotting has begun like clockwork. 😔. To make it worse, we’re out with our pregnant friends this eve x

Awww i am so sorry fpr you loss to. 😔😔😔 this was our 2nd try and its so depressing i just believe it will juat never happen been trying fpr over 4 and half years. 2 failed IVF now on top. Xx i know hun it will be difficult been around other pregnant ladies ita very hard what can we do hey. My family coming over with all my neice and nephews tmw which will be nice caise they all love me ever so much. But i really yearn for that work mummy one day. 😢😢😢 god bless us with a miricle.

Same here, it’s a really miserable time and feel your pain ladies ... nobody knows what to say to you either “oh don’t worry it will happen for you” and other unhelpful comments. doesn’t make you feel better. There is hope but sometimes it’s ok to just feel rubbish and let yourself grieve a little bit xx

It’s my 5th transfer so realistically, it may well not happen for us. We’re having to start thinking like this now as we only have one chance left 😔

Hi sorry i cant give you any advice but just wanted to say how sorry i am to hear your story. Can't imagaine how awful a feeling it must be. On my 1st round of ivf atm and dreading that final test. Be kind to yourself and do some things you enjoy or pamper. Take care.xxx

Tests are designed for use with your first morning urine. That is because the hcg is most concentrated at that time as it has been building whilst you sleep. Tests taken at any other time are not a true reflection.

I know what you mean about mprning urine but 11 days past a 5 day blasto should have at least given me a faint line. I will let you know what tbe result is. Thanks so much but not holding my breath.

Best wishes. Sometimes people only have a faint line in the morning at this point. I was also advised by my clinic that frozen transfers can sometimes be a day or two behind fresh ones. I think they explained it to me in layman's terms but they said it was due to the embryo having been frozen - they can be a little sluggish at the start and take a little longer to implant.

I hope you get a positive in the morning. Before Xmas I had 2 embryos transferred and got my 5th BFN. This journey is taking its toll. It’s so unfair. I hope you get a second line tomorrow. I empathise so much with you x

I doubt I will you know when you just know you know. Wow wish we get pregnant for me time is running out im 39 😔😔😔 plus cant afford it. Im thinking next step would be to go to india for another treatment god know. Xx

Hey, just wanted to say that this could’ve been me on Tuesday night. I got a BPN after a FET (only one embryo though) but my test day wasn’t until wed am. Unfortunately for me it was still BPN in the morning. We have one more frostie left. I will be 40 next month and it’s really freaking me out. It’s so hard when you also have that clock ticking too. We have been trying for 5 years now.

I wish you all the very best. I’m going to try acupuncture next time and also reading “it started with the egg”. My sister got pregnant at 41 after reading that book and following some of the suggestions. 🤞

Hi all. Just to say its confirmed its test morning just as I thought and Clear Blue 3 tests all negative. I expected it. So im gonna stop all meds have a month off and again think of our next step. So heartbroke life with becoming a parent seems short lived. Speak soon ladies. Xxxthanks for all support.

So sorry to hear this, I was in exactly the same situation in January. It was my only frozen embryo and I'm also 39 (40 in May). We're going to try again but it's so expensive and feels so hard trying to be positive but I'm trying. We're taking a couple months off and trying to just enjoy life then borrow thousands to go again. The upcoming birthday is so hard as it feels like it's a massive deadline. I know it's not but.....

I am in the same position, 40 in April and just had a failed FET. Going again with our last FE in May. Feel free to reach out (anyone) if you’re going through an age related stress. It’s additional pressure that only those of us who experience it understand.

Aww bless amd yes cause of age thats why i am more stressed. If i was alot younger i would feel more relaxed. But i am waiting for a bleed now amd then start acupunture monthly and see what else i can do for egg quality. Some people say have coq10 but can I just buy this over the counter. Good luck with your next ome really hope it works for you.

Have a read of “it starts with the egg”. My sister conceived naturally at 40 after a couple of miscarriages by taking ubiquinol which is the form of coq10 that is easily obsorbed. She heard about it from this book.

I bought some from amazon, it isn’t cheap but my sister swears by it. I’m going to start taking it if my final FET doesn’t work. You should take it for 3months before starting Stims.

I’m trying acupuncture for this FET 🤞

I might start a specific thread for us older ladies to chat about these additional stresses on.

Men can take ubiquinol to help quality of sperm too. I don’t know if it’ll work for your husband.

My husband is on fertilsan from germany and some herbal medicine plus hes going to start acupunture alongside with me. lets see I cant give up and waste time I need to keep cracking on. Xxx

Hi all ladies thanks again for words from all just been crying all day and feel numb. Probably will take me a week or so. Cant even think right now but am thinking of going India for a treatment if i can ever bring myself to do again. God knows but will see. Xxx if anyone is from london let me know sometimes nice to meet up with woman going through the same thing to offer support even when its been bad news. We have our other halfs bit sometimes that female support really helps.

Sorry to hear the news...i tested too 10DPT of a 3 day embryo and came back negative this morning. All you can do now is wait for the official test date for the actual results

Hi i really hope yours is pisitive for for me its over. Didnt work. Been a couple days and still feel so numb. But i have booked in a consultation for acupunture which im starting next week and ordered ubiquinol today and trying the seven seas pre concep and see how i get on. Hoping for another new cycle in may but I will be going India for this as cost. Hope it works out for u xxx is this your first time?

This is my third, First was negative, second was positive but ended up being an intramural ectopic pregnancy. Worst part the first two cycles had the best embryos (three 5A first round) and (three 3A second round),this round i had an only an A & C both slightly fragmented. So as you can see am up against all odds.

I know India is more affordable and they are really really good. I have considered India a couple of times but i have a good doctor.

Whens your official test date? Is this the same doctor its been negative with? I don't have to pay for a place to live when I go, I just need to sort out work, so that will be a big help they said I need a month and half out there max and I need to go 1.5 week before my period starts and the treatment starts. its going to cost around 2- 3 k max if that. and will look for cheap flights.
