Hi all! My fresh transfer in March failed unfortunately. I am before my first FET and I’m wondering about embryo glue. I had no difficulties with my fresh transfer and the nurse said that there are not significant evidence that embryo glue helps. What do you think about embryo glue, any experience or happy stories?

Sorry to hear about your cycle. Embryo glue worked for us on our second cycle. We made quite a few changes so I don't know if it would have worked without it, but I think it is definitely worth a try if you can afford it. The embryo in question (my son) was graded as a poor quality blastocyst as well, but he is a happy healthy 3 year old so something must have helped. I used embryo glue with two double transfers and 3/4 stuck. However, I think glue is more effective with fresh transfers. It might be worth looking at an endometrial scratch for a FET.
I had it at yesterday’s transfer, the clinic I went to use it as standard as it may help and doesn’t harm apparently so I was happy to have it. As I’m tubal factor it ‘may’ also help reduce the risk of it travelling and getting stuck in tube x
Hi be_different. If you read the HFEA section on Traetment Add ons, they're not too keen on embryo glue either. hfea.gov.uk soluble aspirin and heparin are often used to ensure good blood flow to the womb and hopefully prevent clot formation. Might be worth a mention if not already trierd. Good luck! Diane
