Hi

I’m doing my second FET and debating if I should do a single transfer with embryo glue or a double transfer? This is my last chance

I did both for my second, I got a bfp but sadly it was ectopic. I was advised by my clinic to do a double transfer as both embryos were slow. We threw in the embryo glue just to check everything at it really. Good luck. X

We used embryo glue with a single transfer and got a BFP. We just thought for the sake of £200 why not. If its your last go why not, what u got to lose by trying. Can you not have embryo glue with a double transfer? X

I have just transferred two embryos both with embryo glue. Agree with another poster that for the sake of £200 we have thrown everything at it!

Hi I'm going in Thursday for FET, I'm 42 many failed cycles, deciding whether to have 2 put in and use glue? The glue didn't work in my previous cycle. TIA x

Hi

I am also doing a FET soon.

I’ve have two failed cycles one with glue only.

I’m planning to do double with glue. It doesn’t harm anything but gives you the satisfaction that you have done anything and everything possible to support the cycle.

My clinic suggested assisted hatching however I am strongly against it.

Best of luck. May this year be our year! Ps- I think doing the glue is a good idea.

Hi 786x been in this morning, all good! Can you recommend anything I should be eating/drinking to help implantation. I've been reading on here pineapple and pomegranate juice and brazil nuts ?

Hey im glad. Best of luck for everything.

I had a lot of pomegranate juice and fruits. I avoided pineapple and nuts as they heat up the blood and may have long term adverse impact.

I heavily had lentils and chickpeas. I also avoided caffeine in any form.

Most important thing is eat and drink what your body wants. Enjoy and relax yourself.

Best of luck

we used it for our second and currently on the edge of the bed due to our 5 month old wanting to take up so much room. hell of a lot cheaper than a fresh cycle. GOOD LUCK!!!! 🍀🤞🏼💙

Hi - I was considering embryo glue also. However, I had a nurse consultation yesterday, and she said that my clinic have now stopped recommending it as some new research has just been published that shows that it makes no difference to outcomes at all.. Best of luck for your transfer 💕🕊️x

So I’m in a similar position where by it’s my first and last time of doing IVF as my finances go. I made 2 good embryos so we’re putting in the both as it does increase the chances. My embryologist said there’s no conclusive evidence that Embryo glue works therefore I’m not using any, but it’s a personal thing it’s what ever you think is best.

I wish you all the best in your decisions and hope you’re journey is successful xx

Hey, i would actually go for single transfer with embryo glue. If that one doesnt stick atleast you have one more frostie left. It doesnt cost as much as an entire cycle just to have a embryo transfer so thats what i would do. Pray you are blessed with success whichever decision you take xx
