Embryo glue & endo scrap

Has anyone from newcastle upon tyne or anyone havin NHS funded ivf had embryo glue or endo scrap and how much did it cost pls...thanks 4 any advise u can give me

Hi emzlou25, I'm not from Newcastle but I am having his funded off. I recently had the scratch done and it was free so is the glue they use.  As far as I know you only have to pay if you get pregnant and then want to use some frozen eggs you may have to get pregnant a second time. That's with us in Wales mind, don't know if it's the same with you. Good luck with everything xx

I also am not from Newcastle but I had the endo scratch and had to pay £225 and they said as I'm nhs I can't have the glue as it isn't offered?!?! X

Oooh thts infair it should still be offfered even if they ask a fee for it..its not right not 2 offer it when we are wishin for the same dream so even if its not nhs funded they should still give u that option. This nhs system in different areas is so messed up it should be the same for everone..hope u got ur BFP xxx

Hi there! My clinic in London amd unfortunately they dont do ( neither private or nhs funded) endo scratch but use Embryo glue routinely.  Do when they uaed it last time i didnt even know and only found out that when requested it on my follow up appointment.

Unfortunately not both times unsuccessful but fingers crossed for third time lucky!

I'm NHS funded and having a FET booked in for my scratch on Thursday and it cost me £200 as wasn't NHS funded xx

Hi, I'm NHS funded and think I was told it would cost around £435 to have both done which I will be doing on my next and final cycle.xx

We are doing it through Cheltenham which is the satellite clinic, the EC and ET are done at Oxford. Sending you baby dust your way also!xxx

I am NHS funded but had to pay for the scratch and glue seperatly. The scratch was £350 and the glue £250. I'm in London so I think all areas vary. Best to ask at your next appointment and keep your fingers crossed it will be free!! Xx
